()
About this ebook
Twenty years ago, Ginny Wilson-Peters started Integrity Integrated with a vision of fulfilling a life purpose of nurturing and inspiring others to reach for the stars. Her journey, however, began long before that during her childhood in Colo, Iowa. Along the way, she has been helped by family, friends, mentors, colleagues, and assistants. And the journey continues as she evolves personally and professionally. Ginny's story in An Integrated Life of Leadership: 20 Years of Nurturing & Inspiring Others to Reach for the Stars is enhanced by those she's touched along the way, many of which are included to aid your learning, motivation, and inspiration to become the leader you were meant to be and fulfill the purpose you were meant to live.
"This book will be a world changer. Ginny sharing her story and experiences is a mammoth opportunity for those not fortunate enough to be geographically close to her, to experience some of her life-altering talents." --Randy Moore
"When I think of leadership, words like respect, honesty, confidence, commitment, integrity, and trust come to mind. These words now define me and live in all aspects of my life." --LuAnn Haydon
"The only thing that can stand in our way is confidence—confidence in ourselves and our abilities. Too often, we don't believe enough in ourselves to take the next step. We tell ourselves we're not worthy enough, not smart enough, not 'enough.'" --Beth Grabin

All We Feared
By David Sirgany
After eons of countless thresholds
another edge appeared
On that luminous precipice
We surrendered all we feared
Now this mind was still and silent
as the spinning world just spinned
In those final moments
my heart
became
the wind

Foreword
By Randy Moore
I HAVE WORKED IN LEADERSHIP roles for the last several decades. I have had the privilege of working with an array of individuals on different levels. Being a Black American, I think it is my duty to make sure I am giving back to my community. The best way I can do this is to make sure I am serving as best as possible in the leadership position I hold. Being an example of all that is good, but keeping it real, is the right thing to do. Operating with integrity and focus is one of the key elements missing from a lot of the leadership in this country today. Demonstrating a degree of wholeness is vital.
I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in 1999. I was ready to face the business world and take it on without regard. However, while I was well versed in the logistical side of operating a business, I had to develop a skill set for leading a business. Most of those who I had worked with before were terrible leaders. Therefore, I did not have a deep pool of resources to dive into when it came to getting advice on leadership. I did as most people do; I had to lead by trial and error. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. One day while trying to navigate through a difficult operational situation, it occurred to me that the best way to lead was to treat people the way I wanted to be treated. It sounds like a simple concept, but in my career, not many people seemed to understand this concept. Leadership for me is a choice that is filled with so many different options.
In 2010, I moved to Davenport, Iowa, to take on the toughest leadership role in my career. I had managed to survive several mergers and downsizings in my company and was now assigned to sit in the most challenging seat I have ever sat in before. As the CEO and President of my subsidiary company, I was not only the top person, I was the most visible person for the company. I met Ginny at the retirement event for my predecessor. I knew that I would need support in not only managing this new role but great assistance in learning how to implement all that I had learned in my past experiences. I also knew that there was much more for me to learn and that I would need to connect with the right person to teach me those special nuances that you cannot pick up from a textbook as it relates to leadership. Ginny Wilson-Peters from Integrity Integrated was that person. Ginny has shown me how to flip the mirror around and to look at me first instead of trying to get others to see themselves. Once I was able to grasp a better understanding of me, it became easier to lead others. Ginny has helped me immensely through this understanding process.
The fact that Ginny is willing to share her expertise with others is a huge benefit to those she serves. Her students and clients are blessed to simply be in her presence. She radiates positivity and exudes personality. Her teaching, training, and coaching styles are exemplary and should be experienced by all who desire to be or are currently in a leadership role, regardless of the industry. Her company, Integrity Integrated, works to improve individuals’ realizations of who they are, what they can do, and how to make it happen. The inner core of a person’s leadership ability is exposed in her classes. Female, male, black, white, Latino, or whatever you are or want to be, she really takes who you are and shows you how to use you
as an advantage in leadership.
This book will be a world changer. Ginny sharing her stories and real-life experiences in this book is a mammoth opportunity for those not fortunate enough to be geographically close to her, to experience some of her life-altering talents. Her personal passion and commitment to helping others achieve their personal and professional goals are both surprising and refreshing to
