From The Editor
Welcome to the April edition of The Wild Goose Literary e-Journal. As you have noticed it is now mid-May, so I don’t have to tell you that we are running late this issue. This is because of some major changes happening with Black Cockie Press. The past few months have seen Black Cockie Press move into the world of print. Three books will be appearing this year in print and a forth as an e-book. March saw the print release of my own novel Poisoning the Nest. Followed very closely in April with the release of a book of verse Guru Stew by Linda J McLeod who has been previously published within these pages. In fact an interview with Linda is featured in this issue.
Moving into print has been a daunting task, but represents a welcome development in the company. There is something about print that feels somehow ‘more’ published. Of course from my perspective as editor, print meant learning to typeset. I now understand why this has dedicated people assigned to it. But as owner, editor, and general dogsbody, the job of learning to typeset fell to me. And so this, dear reader is why you are receiving this issue late. Let me assure you that the August edition will arrive on time.
