About this ebook

Pretty temp Kerry-Jane enjoys working part-time in the Football Club's ticket office. She's met—and flirted with—some of the team, and her fantasy is to join them in their bath. One sexy star player has caught her eye, and when he jokingly invites her to join them for a steamy after-game bath, she blurts out a challenge. If they win the championship, she'll accept his invitation. It'll never happen, though. The team is too far behind. But unlikely events conspire to hand Poldenham the league win, and Kerry-Jane has to decide if she's brave enough to claim her ultimate fantasy.

Andrew Richardson

Andrew Richardson lives in Wiltshire, England, with his wife, a rescue cat, and a son who occasionally pops home from university. He is within easy reach of Stonehenge and other historical places whose regal solitude provides a clear mind for working out plot difficulties and story ideas. Most of his work falls squarely into the ‘horror’ or ‘historical fantasy’ genres, although he occasionally switches to erotica so his characters can have some fun for a change! His publications include nine novels or novellas. Andrew has a long-standing dislike of laptops so adopts the old and quaint approach of typing with a desktop, which at least has a screen big enough to avoid the need to squint. Andrew has a background in history and archaeology and has worked in several trenches. It’s not really a surprise that much of his work reflects this interest and experience. When he’s not writing or working Andrew follows Aldershot Town Football Club and takes long walks over rugged countryside.

Kerry-Jane stepped back from the ticket office window with her tongue flicking her lips. She examined every inch of Danny Cooper as he took confident strides toward the entrance marked Players Only, chatting casually with a couple of teammates as if unconcerned the season’s final game was only an hour away. Kerry-Jane pushed a strand of black hair over a shoulder while staring at his muscular physique, trademark blond hair, sparkling blue eyes, and casual clothes with no tie beneath his jacket. This close, it was clear his youthful good looks were mixing with rugged as he entered his thirties.

If he knew I was braless and wearing lacy stay-ups…

She clenched her fists, telling herself firmly she was twenty-five now and too old to get all gooey over one of the world’s most gorgeous footballers.

Her gaze still wouldn’t leave him.

God, if I was a few years younger, Jenny said from behind her. I’ve always had this thing about sportsmen. Forgive me; I know I’m acting like a teenager instead of mid-thirties.

I can see why. Despite telling herself not to, Kerry-Jane still stared at the ex-England captain.

I don’t tire of looking at any of the team, to be honest, and I’ve worked here five years. The blonde’s mouth formed a circle. "You should see them all bare-chested
