In a world where only teens gain superpowers, The Superiors Squad assembles to keep the peace. But the world is upended when their inspirational leader, Nolan Walker, falls in battle against a robotic foe. Leaders keep the death secret from the public and the rest of the team. Without Nolan's strength and guidance, the world faces the threat of falling into chaos, with teen battling teen for power.

 

Desperate scientists leap to another dimension to retrieve that world's Nolan Walker. The only problem? He is a geek. All this Nolan wants to do is play video games, ride his skateboard, and spend time with his neighborhood crush, Alden.

 

Nolan denies their plea to join them, intent on spending time with his mother, who battles cancer. The scientists offer her a cure if Nolan joins them. Nolan agrees and soon finds himself in another world wearing the outfit of that world's greatest superhero.

 

Except he has no powers. Can a much different Nolan fill the inspirational shoes of his predecessor? Can he stay alive long enough to find that world's Alden? And can he live in a world that does not know what a skateboard is?

Paul Carro was born in Windham, Maine. He was first published at an early age in the fifth grade in, Anthology of Maine Authors alongside one of his famous horror idols. Paul attended Hampshire College where he studied TV/Film with a minor in literature. His journey brought him to Los Angeles where he worked in the video production field before eventually writing and producing for TV and film. He recently published the YA Superhero adventure, Nolan Walker and the Superiors Squad.  The House is his debut horror novel, with his next horror novel, Heartseed due in early 2020. Paul currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
