      Andy looked long and hard at those words across the screen. Obviously he didn’t mind picking up his oldest friend from the airport. He’d done so back when Sam had graduated college and was looking to visit their hometown. But that was four years ago.

      Things had gotten a tad different since then.

      But none of that mattered. Sam needed a place to stay while affairs were taken care of.

      Andy cracked his knuckles, a habit he had always heard was awful for him, despite various research hinting otherwise. Of course not, he typed. Friends till the end, right?

      Better be, Sam typed. You’re the only person from Union I’ve ever shared a bed with, you know :P

      Bit of an odd thing to say, Andy thought, though he supposed it was true enough. When they were kids, they never opted to sleep separate whenever they stayed at each other’s house; no taking up residence on a couch, even into their teenage years. Of course, nothing ever happened: Andy was never really into guys.

      Things had gotten a tad different since then.

      Andy looked at Sam’s profile pic. Three years on hormones, and Samuel had been Samantha for longer than that. And perhaps more troubling, Andy thought Sam was hot: shoulder-length blonde hair, perky breasts that complimented the thin build she had always had when they were growing up, and blue eyes that
