    Why I wrote this book

After being a realtor for many years and doing tons of Leases I came to the conclusion that a book just like this one needed to be put out there. This book that was to be written needed to be simple and easy to understand, unlike all the I’m holier than thou crap in those technical real estate encyclopaedias, that very few can truly understand. It was time for this creation to be brought forth into the world.

So that’s why I wrote this book. I wrote it for the everyday, 9-5, white collar, no collar or blue collar person out there who just needs to know what to look out for when renting a home.

I wrote this book for you because I care and want you go out into the renting world with as much information as I can provide.

So stop wasting time reading this introduction and let’s get started.

Move on, solider, and welcome to A Simple Guide to Renting a Home Anywhere.

    How to use this book

Well congratulations, you’re on your way to becoming one educated son of a gun when it comes to renting (or leasing). Trust me; you just made the best decision to take the time to really understand the renting process. It’s a heck of bronco but it can be tamed. Trust me, you’ll be walkin’ and talkin’ the renting lingo in no time at all.

First I want you to really understand how to use this awesome resource you have between your fingers, so that you don’t waste your time reading stuff you don’t really need at the moment. Now, of course I encourage you to read the whole book through and through but, heck, who’s got time for that anymore? I mean, come on, we’ve got random YouTube videos to watch and items to pin. Nonetheless, here’s the 411.

Each chapter of this book is titled and includes a short intro to the topics it covers. So that being said, just make use of the topics you need, plain and simple. It has been designed to be used in any way needed.

Example: let’s say you want to know more about the difference between leasing communities vs. a private owner, well don’t waste your time with reading about the timeframe of moving, rather work your way over to Chapter 2 where it talks about the desired topic. This works great for those who own this resource in a physical copy but for those of you who are reading this on your computer or e-reader, well, use the Ctrl-F function (or similar) to find the word(s) you are looking for. It’s that simple.

Well I hope that makes sense. The main point I’m trying to get across is this isn’t your 10th grade chemistry book. Think of it more as the cheat cards you’ve got stuck in the back of you scientific calculator (come on, I know we’ve all done it- who really EVER needs to know the equation to calculate the area of a right triangle? - I mean really).Even so, jump around, if need be, or you can read the whole work through. Trust me: it isn’t very long or hard to read. I believe in you and I know you can do it!!

So let’s pull up our boot straps and get this show on the road. Auto-bots roll out!

Ch. 1 - So what’s this thing called renting and what does it involve?

** This chapter covers the following topics: what renting is, the timeframe needed when planning to rent, the monies that will be required to move
