About this ebook

Metaphors are a great way to talk about history, reality, fantasy and humanity, with the freedom of making us able to grasp another depth or to reflect about serious matters.  If we wouldn't have metaphors we would have never thought of god, because it is incomprehensible to our imagination. These three metaphors present original and fantastic ideas to think about the deep sense of religiousness of the reality we live in.

The book of my grandfather is based on Adam (first human) and his relationship to the angels proposing a metaphor where the story results into giving birth to a new form of human being, beginning in a story that begins in a super real origin.

The dream-life is a childish-in-appearance metaphor where a dream being narrates a story. The story turns out to be serious one where dream has to rescue its life from a realistic and complicated situation.

The State of Life is a metaphor that takes into granted the existence of a super real dimension called the State of Life. Developing  afterwards a thought process to connect the ideal State of Life with the real state of human that we know.

    Introduction

The reality we live in has no specific explanation of origin neither of end. We have always counted on human metaphor to elucidate answers, being the humanthe only one capable mediating or interested in such an answer.

As for what history has shown us we choose from two possible options at least. Either one draws its own metaphors, myths or explanations, like some Greeks did; or one follows the guide set by certain religions, currents of thought or similar embodiments of ideas.

For I learned classic stories of the Judeo-Messianic legends and about theisms of the modern era I decided to play with my own metaphors. What I plan to do is to mix and conciliate the two possibilities. Knowing the indigenous cosmogonic narration styles and the knowing the celebrated stories, I decided to mix them with one anther and fantasize my own development.

My own defense is the following. Another reality, let´s say, an immortal one, would be always untouchable by anything we do in these one. The immortality would be a complete different nature. And here by being all mortal, we can´t in any way express the other nature. The only resource we are left to imagine is through metaphor. It would be lke taking sticks and stones to try to explain a space machine.

A second word in my defense is that the mortal human being in the inferiority of the situation will always be granted the freedom to represent higher realities to the likes of his freedom, without being denied frontward. There is the human society who can deny such a persistence, but in atuality is society who invented heresy, right orthodoxy, rituals… and who also invented cults, sects, personality, -isms, ideologies, currents… and all kinds of metaphoric degenerations of a kind or another.

I introduce myself as a writer. I write fantasy and I get so raptured by it that to me it lives or even looks real. I don´t analyze the reader’s reaction, because I don´t analyze the world neither. I could get the reluctance of many and the ignorance of many others, but an artist of the mind is one that serves his/her own purposes, desires and needs, and persists in them.
