Thomas Hobbes was one of the best English philosophers who is famous for his political thoughts. He was a person of practical mentality and his ideas were mostly connected with the contemporary politics. According to him human beings are not naturally political or social and it is our duty to make a political decision without being influenced by an outsider. The main matter of his concern was the problem of social and political order and how human beings can live without a fear of civil conflict.

Between 1646 and 1648, he was the mathematics tutor to Charles, who was also in exile. The best-known work of Hobbes ‘Leviathan’ or ‘The Matter, Form and Power of a Commonwealth Ecclesiastical and civil’ was published in the year 1651.
