      Sirens blare from the streets below as the ghosts of sidewalk conversations filter in through his open window. A gust of wind rustles his hair as he sits upon the edge of his bed, staring at the chunky line of white powder currently spread across the surface of an old Tragically Hip CD case which is carefully placed upon the edge of the night table.
