Author

Anna Scott

Anna is an author of romance novels and erotic short stories. The books Anna loves to write are erotic in nature. They swirl around an underlying theme of love, challenge, imminent heartbreak and always end with at least the possibility of a Happily Ever After. In her youth, she would frequently stay awake into the early hours of the morning, typing on an old typewriter.  Horrific stories of blood, murder and suicide plagued her young mind until they had to be released onto the page.  Her love of writing started at this early age, but over the years, her work has moved from the twisted and morbid to the more lascivious and pleasurable. Today, Anna can be found in her comfortable, red armchair, coffee in hand, staring out at the surrounding fields, dreaming up new and decadent stories. She shares her life with an alpha male of her own, a family and many animals. Anna began to publish her books, thanks to the encouragement of a dear friend.  This special person is always a support, encouraging Anna at every turn.  She helps to focus Anna’s mind when the many facets of writing get to be overwhelming.

    Author's Note

In writing this book initially, I knew there was so much more the characters had to share. It took three years, but Chase and Ainsley finally will get to tell their story, the way they want to.

This book is a work of fiction. All names, characters, likenesses, places, and incidents are products of the author's imagination. They are not related to any actual events, persons alive or dead, locations and any resemblance to current or past events is purely coincidental or are used fictitiously.

    I hope you enjoy!

    Happy Reading,

    Anna Scott

    Chapter 1

    Chase

The minute I'd seen the headlights pierce through the windows at the front of the house, my heart felt like it started beating again for the first time since I'd been home. True, it wasn't long, but I had already called Ainsley's cell phone about ten times, had called Julie's phone and had even sent a text to her dad. Ainsley and Julie hadn't answered of course, and Mountain hadn't seen her, and neither had Jo. I'd been about to start up a full-scale manhunt, or woman hunt as the case may be, then the headlights.

I'd been fucking terrified, had she left me? Had she gotten hurt? Had she been taken? I had no clue, but when the old white Bronco stopped, I knew it was Donnie Hildebrand, that should have been enough to tell me a few things.

One that she was safe, we'd all known each other forever, the Hildebrand's had been in Fleming County as long as my family had, almost as long as even Justin's family, who practically were founding fathers.

Two, I should have known that she'd be drunk, because why else do you need your friend the bartender to drive you home?

Three, I should have known that she'd be with Travis. Yeah, I'd known him forever too, but Travis was a little too interested in Ainsley for my tastes. He asked a little too often growing up if I was sure she was the girl for me. He asked me too damn many questions about my girl, I knew he had a thing for her, knew he wanted to snatch her away from me.

Once I'd opened my damn mouth, I'd been done for. Sure, at first I could have backpedaled from the 'where the fuck have you been' diatribe. I knew where the fuck she'd been, Jesus. Was I an idiot? Donnie worked at Frankie's, where else would she have been? It wasn't like there were twenty bars in Morehead.

As I rode, wind in my face, the roar of pipes surrounding me, this was the shit flooding my head, not the shit I was about to deal with. Seventeen of my brothers surrounded me, my president leading the pack, the club officers behind him, we were acting as a unit tonight, as the Makers MC.

From the back of the line, I heard one of the guys rev their engine, which usually meant he'd seen something, so I checked my back and sides, and that was when I mother fucking saw it. a cherry condition sixty-eight Chevy Camaro, lemans blue with white fucking racing stripes, turning right off Hampton and onto thirty-two, heading back to Fleming County.

I'd been gone, what? An hour at most? It had taken a bit for all the guys to get to the clubhouse, but Jesus, did that girl not understand what the words, we'll deal with this shit when I get home meant?

Okay, in truth, I couldn't remember all the shit I'd said, but I knew I told her we needed to get past this stupid fight. Told her I'd be home in a few hours and I wanted to sink into her tight fucking body and forget
