Not a bad read but not outstanding, fairly predictable this one but well done all the same within it's limits.Lord Adam Hawthorne has problems trusting people, his wife betrayed him throughout their marriage, now she's dead and he has to deal with their daughter, now six, he's unsure of how to deal with her or how to treat her, particularly when she reminds him of his wife.Mrs Elena Leighton is the governess, with some secrets of her own, and their relationship is beginning to be more interesting than she thought it could be, will he forgive her lies.Fairly predictable, but quite readable.
