Dad hesitates for a while but retrieves a pack of photos from his inside blazer pockets. He hands it to mom then mom gives it to me. Opening it I am shock to what’s in front of me. My heart collapses to million pieces to see photos of Miss Tamafune and Mr. Yoshio naked on a bed. Pictures of them kissing, hugging, stripping, everything. I am angry yet disappointed.

CHAPTER 1

(Shun’s POV)

I’m hiding myself behind a building at a corner watching her as she laughs and talks to Ryo Akahito. She’s kind to everyone but I can’t help to get jealous at him. Ryo is my study rival, whether if it is sports or classes, even Miss Tamafune, he has always been my rival and I cannot, must not, lose to him. I like Miss Tamafune since she was my private tutor. Then she moved house and so quitted the job. I remember the last lesson we had and when she told me that she won’t be here next week, I cried whilst clinging on to her. Fate brought us back together and although she isn’t my form tutor, she acts like one to me. I love spending time with her.

When she leaves, I also head inside the building to refill my water bottle ready for the marathon later on. As I am walking to the start line, my hand catches a scrunched piece of paper forcibly thrown into my hand. Hatsumi Meiko wraps her hand over mine and whispers to my ear, Put this in Mr. Yoshio’s jacket. She leaves rapidly like she never stopped in place. We’re living in the same situation but she’s more ambitious than I am, probably because I know forcing wouldn’t be the best approach. I agree to help her though. Back to the boy’s changing room, I enter the staff’s office and slip the paper in his pocket.

Scanning the school grounds, I see no trace of Miss Tamafune. I’d hope to see her face again before the marathon starts. Just as I’m sulking to myself, a light tap on my shoulder draws my attention. I turn around to find Miss Tamafune smiling at me.

Give it your best shot, I’ll be cheering for you, she says enthusiastically.

I smile and nod to her, not being able to reply yet and she had walked away. Her words warm my heart so much. I touch my shoulder, the exact spot where she tapped me and linger for her.

After the marathon award finishes, my driver picks me up to go home. I didn’t get the chance to see Miss Tamafune again until school starts Monday.
