About this ebook
In 1970, deep in the woods in SC, there lived a family of three -the father, the mother and their only child, Tammy, a seven-year-old girl. Tammy's father believed in living off the land because he had grown up living in the woods with his grandma and his cousins. It wasn't much of a struggle for them to live in the woods. They had every basic thing at their reach and when they needed to shop, there was an old car that once belonged to Tammy's father's uncle to get them to the city.
Since Tammy was seven years old, her mom tried to school train her. But when her father died, her mom went into depression that threatened the bond between she and her mother. Tammy went to school in the city despite the struggle.
To get to the city, they have to cross an old bridge. It was the only way to get to the city. The old tell tale is that the old bridge is a creepy one. That there was a secret society that worshipped the devil under the old bridge. The very reason the bridge was not fixed is because no one dared to. Everytime someone tried to fix it, they ended up falling from the bridge to their death. And rumour has it that Tammy's father died on the bridge. But it's rumour. No one can really tell because there was no evidence to prove it
