In the last Book of the Walnut Warriors Trilogy, the Warriors were in the Great Throne Room of the Cozy Castle discussing plans to build a ‘Drag Strip Facility’ for competitive entertainment. Here they would be able to race their custom walnut race car designs.

All the nuts excitedly agreed to start construction on their new raceway the following day. The chosen site would be the open glade that lay between the Misty Forest, home of the Walnut Warriors, and the Cozy Castle.

Using their engineering intelligence, the CashShoes quickly attached a steel blade to the front end of one of their Army Battle Tanks and converted it to an earth-moving machine. This the Warriors used to create two parallel drag racing lanes.

Nuts, somersaulting down the strip while counting the number of their rolls, measured the length of the drag strip. The strip was 1,320 nut rolls in length from start to finish lines and an additional 800 nut rolls for slowing and stopping the cars. 1,320 nut rolls equaled a Walnut Warrior Quarter Mile.
