About this ebook
Dear Anthony,
I am trying so hard to focus on things and get on with my life and I am trying
to cover up the tears. I know you wouldnt want me to feel this way , because
you are at peace now and you are not suffering anymore. But its not easy for
me as your mum; your early departure from this world has left me devastated.
I only wish that I could see you one more time to say GOODBYE. You left
on your own without anyone beside you.
Im so grateful for the years that we got to spent together; I couldnt ask for
a better son, you were kind, polite, thoughtful, caring and loving.
Anthony thank you for all the beautiful memories you left me and for your
written words - YOUR POETRY- Your legacy will live on in the powerful
poetry you wrote. Anthony I love you and miss you very much in my heart
you will stay forever.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace now. I know you are in HEAVEN
surrounded by Angels.
With love from,
Mum

Anthony was born on the 31st of January 1986. He was a kind-hearted, calm, polite and a caring person. He was always smiling with such a beautiful soul. He was too good for this earth. He loved his family and what makes him special is his childlike quality that he had an innocent heart. He saw good in everyone. My son was a dreamer. He wanted to become a writer in fact he has written so many beautiful and touching pieces of poetry. My son got lost and found his way back. During those dark times his writing was his comfort zone that leads him back to sanity. His works talks about his suffering and torment as he struggle his life in the desire to be free of pain. Like any other, he was searching for answers and sought guidance in religion. He sought motivation by reading the Bible. He became spiritual.
As his Momma, I have always supported him. I’ve never gave up on him no matter how hard it was for me. It was devastating and heartbreaking for a mother to watch her son go through so much pain every day. My heart aches for him. I suffered more than he did but I have to control myself to appear strong in the hope that he may draw courage from me.
It was on the 23rd of November 2011 that Anthony has lost his battle and sadly passed away at the age of 25 years 9 months and 23 days old. Words cannot describe the sorrow and loss that we are all feeling.
And now, through his written words—his poetry, he will live on forever. This is his legacy and he will be remembered.
To my son, Anthony we all love you and miss you very much. You are always in our thoughts and you will live in our hearts forever. Goodbye my dear son I know you are at peace now in God’s garden.
