About this ebook

As I write this, it is 2010. So far we have had quite a dramatic decade: 9/11, the invasion of Iraq, George Bush gets elected (Twice!), the IPod, the Xbox, Facebook, Twitter, and a pope who doesnt even look at the camera, the Beijing Olympics (Wasnt that a show?!), the earthquake in Haiti and Chile, and a black man becomes president of the USA, and they used to say pigs would fly when a black man became president, and sure enough swine flu! Its a lot different compared to 10 years ago. The world and technology is changing at such a fast rate, but I feel us people are really not mentally moving along through with the times though.

I want to thank my late father Des, who always loved and believed in me, even though I was very slow as a child.

I wish to give my deepest love and thanks and gratitude for my minder Ali, for staying with me to mind me when my father suddenly passed away.

I thank and bless my sisters Joanne and Vicky, for always dedicating love and time to talk to me when I went through bouts of extreme frustration and sadness as a teenager.

I am really thankful and grateful to the angel and the half of my soul, Soňa, who always had time to talk to me, and share things with me that I could tell no-one else, and who helped to heal me, and open my life up to a whole new great avenue in my life.

I am happy and blessed for my loving and caring uncle and aunt, John and Sandra, who gave up quite a few of their free holidays off work to have me over in England with them, which helped me to escape from my stressful life in Ireland.

I give my love to my nephews, Luan and Oisín (pronounced Osheen), and Jacob who always are so entertaining and loving to me as their beloved uncle.

I want to thank my mother, Andree, and my brother, Josh. Even though I had a rather uneasy time with them both my whole life, they still taught me a lot about staying true to myself, and to be fearlessly honest and blunt in character as I am today. For that I am grateful.

I thank Jonah Bond, the Xlibris Publishing Consultant, and Simone Rodriguez, the Author Services Representative, who both had plenty of patience with me being inexperienced as an author, and who helped seal the deal and lead to the existence of this book.

I am grateful for, and I wish that I could thank all of my foreign friends from all over the world in person, whom I met in Paris, who were really kind to me, who are too numerous to mention and who opened me up to a big wide world.

God Bless you all! Gloria in Excelsis Deo!

Before you jump into reading, you may ask why I wrote this book, because it is a book of very random, general information. I wrote it because I always wanted to write a book first of all. And I know the name The 15 Commandments may seem a bit low-brow, and that’s how I like it, as I love to disturb people. It is merely to get peoples attention. I’m not some megalomaniac moron who thinks he’s a new Avatar. The name is like a naked girl in the street; just bound to get noticed. I just think a lot of the book world is so censored, so politically correct, and that an awful lot of authors hide their expression and instead, try to look smart and educated in their book by writing all fancy. I’m not that fancy, I always got a C in English class. I won’t give my real name, as I want to stay anonymous in case I’m wanted dead by the Muslim world for criticising their one and only true faith based upon it’s faults today. I’m simply brutally honest and non-biased, and I always wanted to read a book that was non-biased.

I wrote this book because I wanted to get my ideas on paper out into the world. I want to introduce my ideas that could be of help and clarity. I thought why should I just keep it in my head? It may seem stupid, but just think of Karl Marx, the founder of the ideals of what is now Communism. Don’t get me wrong, I despise Communism. But all he did was wrote a book, The Communist Manifesto in 1848. In the book, he was basically bitching about Capitalism and saying that it was just an evil system where the upper classes were bent on manipulating with big bucks and screwing with the working class. Then he made up this whole new perfect, visionary utopia for mankind. It would be without class and abolishment of private property. And as history has shown, he got plenty of support. Just writing that book has made a giant difference in history, although it took years, but he got there in the end! Ironically, he intended for his principles to spread to industrialized countries, like Germany, the US and Britain. But instead, it went to Russia and China, which back then at the time, were just backward, agricultural dumps. Like I said, I don’t know where this will go! It could be a failure, or a giant success; you just DON’T know! You know, some of history’s most influential books were written in prison; The Prince, Mein Kampf, Don Quixote, Writings of St. Paul, Ethics, and more (See Endnotes and Sources). But of course, mine isn’t.

It gets to me that even though we have things a hell of a lot easier these days, daily life seems to be getting harder and so much more tiring and stressful, compared to back then in the old days. We as today’s people have a lot more information and money and better education and better healthcare and much better nutrition, in other words, we have it ALL.

Yet today, as a society at large we are miserable, so bloody miserable! don’t believe me? Look at all the people who smoke, drink, and not to mention take drugs, and even look at yourselves! How often are you feeling tired, stressed out, unfulfilled and bored, as well as weak? You think this is normal? It’s such a huge part of daily life for many people. What a screwed up world we are! I see it so often, even used to see it so often among my school peers, I mean for gods sake, look at the damn cigarette packet! It says smoking kills. How stupid can you get?! Moreso, how stupid as a society did we get? Why do they do it?

The answer is most likely, Because all my peers do it, so if I do it, I will be part of it, so I will be accepted, and my peers will want to be with me and be my friend, so I can be safe from the fear of being rejected and isolated. Well, trust me, if they keep chain-smoking, they might not be around for long. How can you want to be with them when they smell worse than cow’s manure?! The same thing is with drinking (too much) and taking drugs: Peer pressure. How else can you buy into this? That unconscious fear of rejection and fear of isolation. You can probably tell I do none of this. But nonetheless, I’m Irish, and the drinking part dosen’t bother me much anyway, we’re known for it!

I gotta address something here: when we are born, we are weaned into such heavy discipline, like potty training, told how to talk properly, how to eat properly, we are told not to fight with our siblings, or with the dog, pick up your litter, be a good boy or a good girl. We are told we can’t have any sweet things, or very little of them. We always hear things like "Don’t shit in the garden, don’t eat those, don’t scream, be quiet, it’s bad to get angry, clean up your room and keep it tidy.

Us helpless little kids would try to defend ourselves and say Why not? The cat does it. If I can’t have sweets, then how come my brother who is only 7 years older, gets to devour Easter eggs in one go like a snake, and how come I see you devouring them as well? If I can’t scream or get angry, how come mom and dad scream so loudly at each other that they wake me up at 10 o’clock every night? Are they just screwing each other very passionately like mommy and daddy should? And why is YOUR room such a bloody kip? There is no way I’M doing it! Us kids just hate the Do as I say, not as I do approach. And I’m like a kid in that respect.

When we get to be a bit older, into our teens lets say, it continues to a lesser extent. In school, we are told to learn stuff that is so boring and worthless and impractical, we start to fidget and squirm and act out, and we are told not to smoke, or drink too much or do drugs, and we are told to be respectful towards others, be tolerant, and respect other peoples differences, and don’t be racist, blah blah blah blah blah.

Now to come back to all we as people have been thought since childhood, hasn’t it thought us so much? Hasn’t it made us into such good and decent people, who would not dare to insult others deeply, who would always be careful of what we eat, who would get along and share with others, even if they were black, Asian or Latinos, protestants or Muslims, or who would only drink in moderation, and scorn at cigarettes and drugs? Just look at our world and our society, isn’t it so beautiful and clean and pristine? Aren’t our cities so full of such friendly, warm, loving, satisfied, inspired and helpful people and people of all races are mingling together in harmony. Virtually everyone lives in exceptional health, with plenty of money, in honest carriers dedicated to being of service, in such a clean and peaceful atmosphere, where they are assured that if they have a problem or something happens to them, the world is there to help if they want it. The whole world is getting along, each and every country is prosperous, with a healthy and happy population, and each country is going and doing its own thing, and trading fairly with other countries, and people all over the world are so fascinated by each other. Just so great isn’t it? How can the whole world get any better?

Back to reality. Sorry about drifting off to fantasy-land! I often do that to alleviate myself of the frustration. To get back to the point, for most of us people, all that crap we have been thought since childhood that I just mentioned just goes out the window! While the kids are in kindergarten, whose teachers are teaching them to be kind, decent, to be good and to share with others, people out there in the Real World are getting really screwed by the government, by selfish, deceitful politicians, by mega powerful and greedy corporations, and by people who simply care about getting money and power to the expense of others, not to mention millions of people in the third world don’t have access to enough food or drinking water,

Meanwhile the rest of us in the North are purging the worlds resources, by guzzling all the oil, creating super weapons we don’t even need and never will, eating so much we become huge fat pigs. There are huge cases of shopaholism and having gambling problems, and we buy so much, that we didn’t need most of it in the first place! So if I may ask you, where the hell does being good, kind and sharing in kindergarten teaching apply to any of this?!

    *     *     *

To sum it up in a single phrase for kids: they DO NOT do as they are told, they DO what they see and perceive around them. Kids are literally like sponges; their minds will suck up anything that they see, hear, or see others doing. And they can be made to believe ANYTHING. Now I wonder what would happen
