About this ebook
These short stories dwell on some of the basic themes of society. These include the daily life profiles of teenagers in family settings, honesty, justice, and the perseverance of romantic love against many odds. These stories are not only interesting alone, but they also produce a plethora of ideas applicable to other lives, producing authentic life lessons.
The poems display an exciting array of the various stages of the human struggle to understand and be understood by society. Perhaps they are ultimately the writer's effort toward the true expression of her soul. Welcome to some good reading.

Journey Home and Other Stories
Nnenna lived in Enugu with her parents, Chioma and Nnamdi. She had just returned from the United States. Nnenna spoke her native language fluently, but she had a hard time readjusting when she returned from abroad. At fourteen, she found it hard to adjust to the new culture, so her parents found a reputable secondary school close to home.
Nnenna made a new friend named Cynthia. Cynthia’s mother was Indian, and her father was African. Cynthia also grew up in the States. Nnenna introduced Cynthia to her parents, and the two families became close. Nnenna’s father was an accountant, and her mom was a fashion designer, while Cynthia’s father was a journalist and her mom an artist.
