My first wish would be to go back in time and to share my wonderful life again with my beloved Francine and also share all our terrific years while together with many of our family loved ones and friends—always spend more time with your family loved ones and friends, enjoy the good times, and most importantly, therefore and foremost, always remember those great, happy days, and those special memorable moments, because they don’t last forever, and these are the most important times and things in your life. My book, in its entirety, is dedicated in memory and in honor of my beloved wife Francine Veronica DiMaggio—a very special woman and wife that I was most fortunate and blessed to know and love in my lifetime, wholeheartedly and unconditionally. I’ll always love her till the end of time and because she was very special to me. I love and miss her very much, and she was, still is, and will always be The Love of My Life. My second wish would be to finally bring everlasting Peace on Earth, and to wish for all the special words I wrote as indicated on my song entitled Peace on Earth would come true for all the people throughout the world, and especially for all our brave solders still fighting and protecting our freedom and country and other countries throughout the world in wartime, and may I conclude by adding a few very important and worthwhile words from the middle verse of my song entitled Peace on Earth, that is, I wrote: let us think of our soldiers, are they coming home, coming home, coming home. Well, let’s finally do something right for our brave solders of America, and bring all of them home now, alive, before more of our special solders get killed in action, and to further eliminate the possibility of more depressing, unfortunate and unnecessary bad news to their family loved ones!

My third wish would be for the sake of all our children’s children, and for all mankind… countries throughout the world should all join together, as one Nation, under God, and eliminate, disarm and destroy all the Nuclear Weapons, missiles and other deadly and destructive materials and weapons of mass destruction, which will furthermore eliminate all the radiation and pollution problems presently existing on our planet Earth that is destroying our wildlife, crops, other consumptions, trees and other plants, climate conditions, contaminating the ocean and the seafood’s we eat. Also, we must stop all the violence throughout the world; such as the unforgettable tyranny of terrorism incident on the morning of September 11, 2001, the north and south Twin towers at Ground Zero, about 110 stories each at the World Trade Center in New York City, killing thousands of innocent Citizens of the United States of America, which was considered the worst devastation in United States history; the terrible Boston Marathon incident, another unforgettable terrorist act; disturbed people killing innocent schoolchildren and teachers; and last, but certainly not the least; the never ending wars in foreign countries, killing many people and leaving thousands of children homeless and hungry. In my opinion, not as an author, not as an executive record producer of my record company and publisher of my publishing companies, not as a songwriter, an accountant or other occupations that I’ve attained in the past, but as a concerned citizen of humanity . . . the above life threating and unnecessary incidents that we’ve experienced over the years are only a few, and don’t make any sense at all, and it really doesn’t bring any control, solutions and satisfaction to countries, but only killing and injuring many thousands of innocent people, their family loved ones, especially the children. Let’s face the truth, we are all here on earth for a short period of time, and eventually we will all die, so let’s make the absolute best of it, while we’re living.

AUTHOR’S IMPORTANT NOTICE

S ome front covers for my Record Albums, Compact Discs and some related inserts that were originally included in my autobiography under several Chapters had to be removed from my book. The reason for this removal was because the publishing company, Xlibris indicated to me, that since I could not provide them with the proper photo releases from the entertainer’s and other individuals appearing on these covers, they unfortunately had to be deleted. For your information, while working on these projects over the years, I did in fact obtain the required photo releases from the entertainer’s and other individuals appearing on these covers, but I misplaced them, and I tried to locate them before my book was printed. Consequently, since I could not find these misplaced photo releases, I had no alternative but to eliminate them from my life story, and I’m so sorry, with deep regret for any inconvenience that I may have caused for not including them. Thank You!

For your information, I am including some Words of Wisdom, which I feel are considered very important for all the Authors that are thinking of writing another book, possibly your autobiography, similar to mine, or another story that you want to publish. Please make sure that if you ever have any newspaper articles, clippings, reviews, write-ups, photos, or other important documents displayed in your book, you must obtain the proper releases and or permissions to use these documents before your book is published. Please take it from someone who has gone through this experience, not only as an author, but as an owner of a Record and Music Publishing Company, and be absolutely sure that you have in your possession at all times, all the necessary releases and or permissions from those companies and or individuals, the same day or next day, that all these documents were made available to you, and keep them in a safe location, like a safe deposit box or other designated safe location, because you will never know when you may need these documents again. Please don’t make the same mistake I made over the years, that is, I had all the proper releases and permissions for these documents, but unfortunately, misplaced some of them that were very important for my autobiography, resulting with deleting some of them from my book, as indicated above. So please, always keep these documents in a safe place, as indicated above, which are for your own protection and future reference, and make sure that you have all these documents with you at all times and with the proper releases and or permissions before you submit your story to a Publishing Company, because it’s possible that some of these documents in your book may be questioned during the initial and final review, inspection and or re-evaluation of your project, and if you don’t have the proper releases and or permissions, these documents could undoubtedly be deleted from your book entirely, and shall eventually create an unpleasant and embarrassing situation and possibly be very costly and affect your overall story. Consequently, the above Words of Wisdom will hopefully eliminate many future unforeseeable problems that you may experience… always protect yourself, and remember, you are the only person responsible for your published work. Author’s Opening Statements

T his book, in its entirety, is a special tribute and dedication in memory and in honor of my wife, Francine Veronica DiMaggio—a very special woman and wife that I was most fortunate and blessed to know and love in my lifetime, wholeheartedly and unconditionally, Till the End of Time and Because She Was very Special to Me. I love and miss her very much; and she was, still is, and will always be The Love of My Life. Before my beloved wife, Francine, passed away on May 5, 2012, she worked vigorously on my life story, prepared and created (bless her heart) with her many unquestionable talents, to say the least, the following as inserts to my biography: all the memorable picture copies, as displayed under chapter 11; all the 7 (45 rpm) and 12 (33 ¹ / 3 rpm) record album cover copies, as displayed under chapter 16; copies of a compact disc insert and cassettes with copies of song lyrics, as displayed under chapter 17; copies of a compact disc insert (the Fabulous Four Tops Project), with mastering tapes, as displayed under chapter 24. Since her passing, and in all fairness to her, I decided to leave the above-mentioned chapters she prepared and created, which were originally titled by her as Biography of Robert Joseph DiMaggio: Another Famous DiMaggio, as is; and I wish to dedicate it in her memory and in her honor. Please refer to some memorable pictures of Francine shown on the front book cover and also displayed throughout chapter 11. Also, please note that this book is in two parts; that is, those pictures, copies, exhibits, etc., as displayed and mentioned above, which were prepared and created by Francine, are considered part 1 of my biography. And the remaining pages, such as all the texts, book covers (front and back), copies of record project cover sheets, and all other pages of those chapters not mentioned above are considered part 2 of my autobiography.

Consequentially, instead of entitling my book Biography of Robert Joseph DiMaggio: Another Famous DiMaggio or Autobiography of Robert Joseph DiMaggio: Another Famous DiMaggio, I decided to simply call it Another Famous DiMaggio. This is in memory and in honor of my beloved wife Francine, my parents, my brother Tommy, my famous cousins Joe and Dom DiMaggio, other DiMaggio’s, and other family loved ones and friends who have passed away over the years.

Additionally, included are a unique book cover, front and back. On the front book cover is including the title of my book, Another Famous DiMaggio, some of my family pictures, as indicated under chapter 11; and with my special messages regarding family moments together, which are the most important times and things in your life: On the back book cover is a copy of my second Record Album project, entitled I’ll Love You Till the End of Time and Because You’re Special To Me. I wrote these two special songs for my beloved wife Francine Veronica DiMaggio, of which are included throughout many chapters of my book. Also, on the back cover are my comments regarding my music and entertainment career, hitting home runs in the music and entertainment business, including special comments about my special and famous baseball cousin, Mr. Joe DiMaggio.

I’m not like my famous cousin Mr. Joe DiMaggio, one of the all-time great baseball players who set some outstanding records and hit many home runs, but I’m hitting home runs in the music and entertainment industry. God bless you, Mr. Joe DiMaggio. Also, throughout my life story, I’ve had a tendency of repeating myself and it may seem corny or trite in some way, but I always felt it was noteworthy, worthwhile, and meaningful. Please forgive me if you may have thought otherwise. In several instances, I mentioned my famous cousin Mr. Joe DiMaggio as being one of the most famous and outstanding baseball players of all time and, particularly, If I have to do my life all over again. However, I always loved baseball and my cousin Joe since I was a child, and I’m very proud of my last name, DiMaggio. Also, my beloved father always knew that I loved baseball just like Joe did. He often spoke of Joe and his many baseball records, not only being his first cousin but one of his best friends as well. My father was a very private and compassionate person just like Joe was. Therefore, in memory, in dedication, and in honor of my beloved father, Mr. Thomas A. DiMaggio, and my beloved cousin, Mr. Joe DiMaggio, and for the love, devotion, and respect that I’ve always had for them, this book is also dedicated to both of them and, in addition, dedicated to my other family members, other relatives, my best friends, other special friends and people that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing in my lifetime, and including all the charitable organizations mentioned throughout my life story.

Also, a very special thanks to my best friend, Mr. Chuck Rancourt, for his assistance in editing portions of my life story; and without his expertise, professionalism, confidence, and continued efforts, my autobiography would not have been completed in an adept manner.

For your convenience, at the end of this book, I have attached three blank sheets of white paper, which are reserved for you, the reader of my autobiography, just in case you may decide to write a few comments about yourself as an autobiographer, with your experiences in your lifetime that you might want to share with some of your loved ones or friends. Or maybe you may decide to write a biography about one of your special friends or loved ones. Or you may further decide to express some of your comments and thoughts about my life story, or to me personally, and if you want to send me a message, my e-mail address is [e-mail]. Whatever remarks you want to say (and for whatever reason), express them in writing; these blank sheets are reserved especially for you and to be used at your discretion. Also, you may decide to write about your childhood, where you were born and raised; other comments; some experience(s) that you may want to discuss with your friends; or possibly, some personal problems that you may be experiencing in your own life, etc. Please use these sheets of paper for your own liking and for whatever you want to write. Additionally, you may decide to write something very personal, similar to your own personal diary, with possibly a summary of your life’s major events and loves in your life, or special highlights, good times, accomplishments, hobbies, best friends, and anything else that was special during your lifetime.

Over the years, I always wanted to be remembered for what I tried to accomplish in my lifetime (listed in no particular order) as an entrepreneur, songwriter, author, composer, producer, publisher, entertainer, musician, and accountant, and most importantly, for My Message in the Music record album project entitled A Special Tribute to America including the three special songs I wrote—Our Missing Children, So Please Give With Me, and Peace on Earth—which are summarized in detail under chapter 17 and also for all the work I did in the past, trying to raise funds for those special people who needed help and assistance in the United States and other countries as well. Additionally, I can further remember when I had my seizure at age forty-five. It was not my time to go, and I was brought back to life with the inner fortitude and determination instilled within me by the grace of God. I was able to complete my three songs, making my longtime wishes a reality.

Please note that all the recorded music projects including record albums (7 and 12), compact discs, cassettes, and the video projects that are listed throughout the chapters of my life story were all (after all my related expenditures) for charitable organizations.

My final comments are on immigration, employment outlook, and medical insurance premiums. I have nothing against immigration. I think it’s an honor and privilege to obtain citizenship in the United States of America. I think that all employers in the United States should remember to hire the Americans, especially the veterans, because many are still unemployed. Some are facing or have already experienced foreclosure with other related difficulties, and some are homeless, including family members, with no food and no place to go. Come to think of it, the only thing I personally have against immigration is that when immigrants cross the border illegally, some of them try to smuggle drugs into the United States, which is also illegal. They, in turn, sell these drugs to drug dealers; and the drug dealers, in turn, sell this poison to some of our children, who pay the consequence, and sometimes with their lives. Employers should have a medical group insurance plan that would reduce employees’ pro rata share of the monthly cost of these premiums, especially when you are over age fifty-five; the costs have skyrocketed considerably.
