About this ebook
One Breath Prayers owe their inspiration to haiku, and follows the traditional seventeen syllable form. A one breath prayer is a meditative instant of perception where one experiences his or her relationship to God.

Forrest A. Hainline III
Forrest Hainline is a trial lawyer living in San Francisco. He believes that a trial lawyer has to combine the skills of a priest, poet and martial artist. At Notre Dame, Forrest studied theology under John Dunne and Henry Nouwen and philosophy with Joseph Evans. At SUNY Buffalo, he studied poetry with Robert Creeley, Irving Feldman and Lionel Abel. Forrest is a third degree black belt in Aikido and has a black belt in Aiki style fencing.
