Every four hundred years the Keeper of fall must find a successor who is just and true with unyielding faith to take up the responsibilities of the season. Captured and held by a powerful sorcerer. Shandra must psychically search for her successor before the last day of summer.
Autom cant push aside the urgent feeling that she must travel to the ends of the earth. The veils are thinning and she must seal the rifts to heal the veils, but when she comes across Kory Shaw about to be sacrificed in a dark ritual. She couldnt just leave him to the brutal fate. Her instinct had urged her to save him.
Kory Shaw was investigating reports of suspected ritualistic activities taking place in the ancient burial grounds that were sacred to his native people. He vowed to find and put an end to what or whoever was responsible for the ritual sacrifices, but as he knelt down to examine the disturbed ground he was hit over the head and knocked unconscious and became the next candidate. Just before the knife could plunge into his heart a brisk cold wind sprang to life and he found himself in an unfamiliar world of magic, war and chaos. Where he soon discovers there is more to Kory Shaw then even he knew about.
Along his way he is joined with persons who all have a common goal. He together with his companions, endure dark magics, twisted creatures, and self sacrifice. They must have unyielding faith to not only stop the killings but also to heal the veil that separates the dark things from the flow of human existence. In doing so he learns just who and what he is

Winter Lilies Jessica Dawn Wallberg & Valdeara Christine Hunter Jessica, eldest of five children and Valdeara the third eldest grew up with dreams of sharing their imaginations through writing and art. Living on the Uintah/ Orray Indian reservation near mountains known as Mosby & Uintah (the Uintah basin in Utah) several ranges making up a natural basin. They attended school and interacted with the natives of the aria learning and appreciating the importance of the native culture, enriching their knowledge and abilities to live and co-exist with nature surviving as parts of it. Drawing on the natural beauty and mysteries to influence their stories and art work. Instilling their love of nature & Native American heritage, into their writing and current lives. Their family spent a lot of time camping and fishing learning to live close to, and respect nature. They developed a unique insight and knowledge of the land. Appling their beliefs and love of nature with their imaginations to story writing and art works of various types.
