Our Nations needs true leaders; those who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. Nation-building rest mostly on the shoulders of people sitting in front in government and politics, yet every man should govern and build his own home through purpose, common values and shared culture.

FOREWORD

You Are a Product of Building

Growth and development is a basic requirement of life. Building is a process and a series of actions that is directed towards an aim to bring about a change and to produce development. It also means to make something or put up a structure that does not exist by joining parts together. The development produced by this process may be an enterprise, relationship, ministry or life as a whole. The concept of life itself was laid on process, productivity, and progressive change. In the concept of life building, there is always a life to grow, a decision to make, a direction to take, a principle to follow, a discipline to study, a work to do, a problem to solve, a fruit to produce, a future to build and a purpose to fulfill as long as time and space are constant.

Everyone is a product of building. The first man and woman were products of God’s seed. The word seed was translated from the Hebrew word zera and Greek word sperma, which also generate the word sperm. Sperm is the seed of a man that is sown into a woman to interact with the woman’s seed to produce a single fertilized seed. This fertilized seed is called the zygote and it is unique and different from both parental seed because it composes of the combination of the 23 chromosomes of each parent seed to produce a unique 46 chromosomes that contains a full complement of genes. The zygote then undergoes several biochemical processes, differentiate, multiply, and build up to form the fetus. The fetus is an intrauterine baby with developed and functional parts of the body. With time, the fetus gets matured and delivered into the world of the unknown. The building and development then continues from infancy to childhood, adolescent to youth and to adulthood. It therefore means that everyone that goes through this growth process is a product of building.

Every level of building is important and an alternate error in the process of the developing man especially in the womb can cause mutation, a premature and unacceptable delivery or death. Whatever you want to build in and with your life must carefully be formed in your mind womb to have an effective delivery. Mistakes are function of erroneous choices in life, though mistakes are either cheap or expensive but whichever way you have to pay for it.

Anatomy of Life

The structure or organization of life is very composite and dynamic. The different sector works together unanimously to produce the whole, what makes you the unique individual.

The body is built up from the smallest structural and functional unit called cell and billions of it makes up the body. Several specialized cells work together to produces a particular tissue such as blood, nerves, and marrow etc., the tissues combine and work to yield the organs such as the brain, spinal cord, heart, lungs, skin, and muscles etc., the organs then works also to give the differs systems such as the skeletal, the nervous, the circulatory, the respiratory, and the reproduction system etc., and all this systems works together in agreement to produce the organism. A defect in one system affects the function of another which brings about the malfunction of the organism in terms of diseased state for example paralysis which occurs primarily due to defect in nervous system. So for a body to function all its sectors must work properly and in agreement as a whole for a proper manifestation.

Similarly life is structured that way too; your whole life is made up by several sectors. It is an embodiment of different lives working unanimously. It encompasses your spiritual, financial, family, career, social, mental, relational, marital, health, material and physical life etc., and each sectors can be further broken down to their make ups. For example your spiritual life is made up of your faith, devotion, meditation, calling, prayer, worship and what have you. The building of the whole will be determined by the building and development of the underlying sectors to yield the unique individual.

Center of your Life

It has been established that the whole is composed of different sectors that works together unanimously to make you but there is a particular one among others that will be at the center at a given period of time. It influences and controls others and determines the outcome of the whole life. It is the sector’s leader. Whether you are conscious about it or not, whatever is at the center of your life has ability to empower or breakdown other sectors of your life.

Stephen R. Covey suggested in his book ‘7 habits of highly effective people’ that, whatever is the center of your life will be the source of your security, guidance, wisdom, and power.

These four things are actually true and they are determining factors for a meaningful life and future. Your security is your sense of worth, your guidance is your sense of direction, your wisdom is your sense of balance, and your power is your sense of action.

Each of us has his or her center, some of us are family-centered, money-centered, spouse-centered, work-centered, religion-centered, relationship-centered, pleasure-centered, and the list goes on, but depending on the level of the building you are, one particular center may be activated until the underlying factors are satisfied and another center becomes the compelling force or action point. This result into inconsistencies and often affects the result and total outcome of the whole. Check your interest and values in life, they are majorly determined by the center of your life.

Principle-centered Life

The idea of course is to create a single clear center from which you consistently derive high level of security, guidance, wisdom, and power which is the principle this book offers. A principle-centered life creates the solid foundation for building our lives to the very end and purpose for which we were created to be that unique individual.

This book focuses on principles that will build you from inside-out. A brother in my first degree university fellowship was fond of saying ‘this is the era of the inside and not outside, the era of the within and not without, the era of the content and not the container’ and I have come to agree that we can never have a genuine public victory if we have not conquer our private battles. You have to live and build from the innermost part of your being before you can enjoy the reality on the outside.

These principles shall be built on the foundation of faith, love and character. The understanding of the combination of this three as the foundation of these principles gives a genuine solution to the problems we face as an individual, family, community, society, association, organization, company, industry, government, and a nation.

No matter the level of your mindset and dream, nobody will celebrate you except you manifest in reality. Every new day brings with it an opportunity to build and if it is not purposeful, it is not meaningful. Today is the tomorrow we said yesterday, build today right and always and tomorrow will take care of itself. Today is the future!

I beseech you as you journey through this book, open your heart, concentrate totally to the wisdom it offers because nothing we change until we decided to change with the right principles. Nobody can change you except you.

Marilyn Ferguson said no one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or by emotional appeal.

The change and development our world begins from you and I, and it has to be built on the right foundation and principles. Principles are universal; it works everywhere, regardless of your race and upkeep. Principles are real and cannot be broken but we can only break ourselves against it. The principles this book offer are not religious or sentimental. They are fundamental necessities for a successful building and meaningful living.

This principles have helped great men like Martin Luther king jr. to build a cause, Henry ford to build an industry, Albert Einstein to build the physics, Leonardo da Vinci to build the art, Andrew Carnegie to build a successful business, Steven Covey to build a successful career, John C. Maxwell to build leading leaders, Mahatma Gandhi to build a nation, Apostle Paul to build a ministry and Jesus Christ to build eternity. These are great minds that I have spent my time to learn from to build my life.

Embrace this principle, discover, develop and become the real you. Donald Trump "I wasn't satisfied just to earn a good living. I was looking to make a statement." The best way to write your own script is to apply this principle to your life and your building will become a reality and the whole world we see and celebrate it.
