Sailing out of Coconut Grove, Florida into Biscayne Bay, around Stiltsville and into the Atlantic, the winter weather there ranges from ideal to squally, and everywhere in between. In the wild weather, bearings can be lost, equipment damaged or worse, destroyed. To novice sailors, the elements can take a higher seat. Having no inkling of where you've wound up and discovering you're not alone in that place can be unnerving. Interesting characters that you'll meet in this tale may remind you of yourself in your age of adventure. What exactly is going on after the air clears? Who is funding it and why are things so secretive?
The other shorts: Real life adventures shape us. They give us fear, exhilaration, fun and teach us new things. These are fun stories about taking time to stop the merry-go-round that is life and indulging in learning to sit and getting outdoors. I hope you enjoy these stories.
