About this ebook

What cataclysmic event almost destroyed the Earth? Was this the same event that fractured the mantle of the earth which contributed to the continental drift? Did Atlantis really exist? Was an advanced civilization from a faraway planet responsible for early mans great leap forward from the Stone Age to the Copper Age? What kernels of truth can be found amongst mythology, philosophy, religion and ancient texts that resonate with accepted scientific facts, and provide a plausible explanation of some of Earths mysteries?

This book offers a unique perspective that identifies these kernels of truth and then proceeds to connect them to form a new picture of a very important time in the life of our planet.
Jane Wright, brings to the page a logicians perspective that crosses multiple disciplines of thought, and in a creative and entertaining way, provides the reader with a unique proposal of how things might have been from 10,000 years ago to 6,000 years ago, when modern civilization began to take hold.

An avid reader of non-fiction histories, biographies and the sciences, and lifelong student, Jane Wright has finally found time to fulfill her desire to write. This is her third book. She was born in Chicago, grew up on Staten Island, New York, and spent most of her adult life in Florida. Her first ambition, besides being a wife and mother, was to a teacher. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree she accomplished all of these. A retired teacher and mother of four grown daughters, she now has time to put to paper some of those thoughts she has been pondering since she was eight.

    PREFACE

Some religions tell us that it all began with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, 6,000 years ago. The scientists tell us that it began with a big bang, several million years ago. The historians are reluctant to take sides, since few written records exist at this time. And so the unanswerable questions have been passed down to us through the generations; the who, what, where, when and how of our planet Earth.

Why is the Earth tilted on its axis? Why is the western hemisphere drifting west towards Asia?

Who built the pyramids? Some of the questions seem trivial. Who cares who Cain and Abel mated with? But it is a legitimate and important question. Important, because it reveals and establishes a basic fact that can no longer be overlooked or ignored. The question is answered a few chapters later, in Genesis. No one has ever put the two relevant chapters together, in just this way before, because one vital bit of information was unavailable until recently.

These questions and others are listed below and are referred to as dots. An attempt is made to connect all the dots to form a new picture of a very important time in the life of our planet. We have only to accept an obvious premise and all the dots fall into place, creating a scenario. It is not the only scenario for these events but it is the only one that links all the questions together. Some of the dots have been overlooked; others are separated by time and some seem to have no relevance to any of the others. Time is an elusive and flexible factor. We cannot measure the age of the pyramids by carbon-dating its boulders. The boulders existed in the side of a mountain, long before they were used to build the pyramids.

If we accept one simple premise many of the
