James is a Ship Forman for Baltimore Stevedore, a heavy equipment operator, a hip hop dancer, a Harley enthusiast, a scuba diver, a photographer, and an inventor of the automotive sound replicator. His mother, Annie Webb was a Librarian for 30 years in the Pasadena Area.

    Chapter One

    Born in a Bar

    I’m born in the spring of 1992 at a bar in Lake Shore Maryland. I feel the comfort of my mother next to me. She’s very warm. I suckle on her for my nourishment. Her milk tastes so good! I hear a lot of noise, but I can’t see anything. About a week or two passes, and my eyes open for the first time. Lots of people pass by me and my cat family. There’s a lot of stuff going on here. It’s pretty exciting in this new world! The regulars know my birthplace as The Palace. That’s the name my Dad to be, branded it. It’s a little neighborhood dive (not so fancy) tavern. The building is about eighty years old. The bathrooms are about five feet tall. It has two pool tables and a lot of regulars who like to use them. My mother is a barfly, whom Loretta feeds. Loretta is a barmaid who lives upstairs. It’s a beautiful spring day. I think that my mother has different fathers to her seven babies, because my mother is a snow white mixed breed. My brothers and sisters are either black or white, but I look like 100% Maine coon (originally
