Peter J Steffens

Peter Steffens was born the year the Presbyterian Church united and Ronald Reagan was President of the United States. He is from Maine and was raised there, New Mexico, and Washington State. Peter graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2002 and from Big Bend Community College twice with a associate degree in arts and sciences in 2004, and nurse assistance certificates in 2011. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2007. Peter has worked a little, but has mostly done volunteer work in a variety of fields. He is self-employed as an ordained minister, primary to perform wedding ceremonies. When Peter isn't writing or planning wedding ceremonies, he spends time volunteering on Republican political campaigns such as Matt Manweller's campaign for state representative. Peter also volunteers with caring for children at Moses Lake Presbyterian Church. Peter has written a historical document for his friends at Broadway Barber Shop as an intern for the Columbia Basin Herald. Peter enjoys fishing with his brother Tyler, spending time with his dogs and parents, and volunteering at a public golf course.

In chapter 6 of the Christian book Business Meets the Bible Customer Service: Applying Time-Tested Concepts To Your Place of Work by David E. Reed a concept is introduced that explains how instead of compartmentalizing your life into Work, Family, Household Tasks, Study & Planning, Leisure, Church and Travel & Vacations a person is more whole by choosing to let Jesus and the Word of the Bible flow through all these areas of their life to bring peace of mind in the love for Christ.

That chapter also has a Bible verse from the Book of James that says, Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. The book explains how when we encounter testing and difficulty at work our faith is tested and through this arduous process endurance is produced in us. The book says through the story line when encountering a problem to ask our self, "What is God trying to teach me? Secondly, can I identify anything I can do differently to prevent this same problem from occurring
