In a journey through the history of science, we find in each stage of humankind and in each geographical region, the evolution of the anatomical and physiological concept of the eye globe.
The anatomic history of the eye globe is a collection of drawings (of public domain, reviewed and authorized to be published by Palibrio Publishing ) that shows us the concepts of anatomists, from old ages until today.
First, it was the simple sketching, then the artistic drawing, later the post mortem micro-photography technique, until we got now the in vivo and dynamic study of tissues. The current diagnostic and treatment equipment with a resolution power that has micron and femtosecond as limits in distance and time, we will soon have new information to reconsider concepts that we believed true until now.
