DEDICATION
God or the Spirits are always looking over my shoulders. When the same power guides me from within, I call it as the ‘Self’.
The Bible (Mathews: 22- 39) insists that for better living we love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Love, faith and hope are the three basic values ingrained in all of us. To love thyself, I must know thyself. Knowledge is fundamental to all value systems. I have and follow the value system that has primarily the forgiveness, compassion, honesty, alertness, and other positive attributes as ingredients for my personality.
Kiran is my wife of forty two years. I have debilitating Parkinson disease for the last twenty two years. She takes care of me and her elderly parents continuously. She is Reiki, Yoga and Meditative methods teacher. She is a reputed gynecologist. Her accomplishments are exemplary and unmatched. We have travelled a lot for education and vacation. However, she had no training in high altitude mountaineering.
One morning she declares her plans to visit high altitude peak in china (Kailash) and another in Nepal (Annapurna).
She had self-confidence and the belief that she could do it. Next five months were the intense training months. When the permission came, she was ready to go.
She accomplished the difficult task in style. As salute to her indomitable spirits, I dedicate this book to Kiran, my wife.
A believing Hindu has God as Trinity {Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh}. Shiva or Mahesh lives on Mount Kailash, next to Lake Manas Sarover. I cannot go there because of my health. Kiran decided to visit the area.
I have fascination for snow clad mountains and for the snow-capped mountain peaks. Kiran and I had lived in Chandigarh, a modern city in the foot-hills of Himalayas. My obsession with the mountains took us to Devika Rani Roerich’s studios in Rohtang pass area.. Devika was an actor, and her husband was a painter who painted the mountains in the different colors he saw them. I have seen mountains in all possible human moods. The photographs are as popular memorabilia as the paintings.
Kiran’s trip has produced great pictures.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Professor K.S. Dadhich, a fellow of Radha Swami Sat sang, Beas came to stay with us for a month. He got involved in the discussion on different aspects of religion and spirituality. Gradually I hauled him to finish this manuscript. He along with Donald Galli finished the review and editing of the essay.
I acknowledge their contributions and thank them sincerely.
PS – I have written everything in the flowing form, i.e., I have not drawn any chapters out of the text. The reason is simple – game stops but life goes on and whatever comes to you is life experiences and not the game plan.
THE AUTHOR
"The author claims he is a published author in the field of human science and art of living. He is not concerned about the theories of evolution or if a master is doing the tricks of producing, sustaining and finally recalling his creation at will or volition. He believes in ‘one life to live’ and that there is one human race. No two individuals have the exact same properties. He gives examples from the chemistry he has taught until he was forced out by Parkinson disease, a debilitating movement disorder. This is incurable and progressive disease specific to individuals and their environment.
Let us now listen to the author of my belief system’ and ‘I, ‘The Journey to Bliss’ and ‘The autobiography of a teacher; a success story.’ Publish America, a Baltimore based publishing company published the last two books in 2010 and 2011. Sirji, the author, shall introduce himself now".
I am a published author.
Growing up as a chemistry professor in India, and later as radiopharmaceutical (Radiology) professor in my adopted home country, USA, I followed the Sutra ‘Produce and publish or Perish’. I published ‘good’ research papers in Cobalt (Vitamin B12) chemistry and Tc⁹⁹m pharmaceuticals. Parkinson disease forced me out of the teaching and research in the chosen fields. On reaching the sixty-first milestone, I declared the innings closed. I left chemistry and followed my five teachers from the INSIGHT department. The result is before and for you.
I started reading and writing very early. The primary motive was to get quick access to various different subjects for the forthcoming events in public speaking. I was always ready for the debate and declamation contests. Generally I had the material ready for publication. It was at this stage I published essays and stories in the college magazines.
As the platform grew bigger, so did my appetite for knowledge increase. I decided to publish what was lying in the trash. This started me on the fast track of authorship. I stopped writing for college or university magazines. After I was appointed lecturer in Chemistry, I refused a local publisher to write chemistry book for him. Although there was money in it but I was not so sure if I have enough new
chemistry to give or write.
This was not the end of my journey. I wanted to become a human being; neither a saint nor a sinner. I wanted to be newsmaker and not just the cameraperson with a news reporter. Nature provided me enough tricks that I became who I wanted to be. Figuratively speaking, I became an officer and a gentle man.
I want to fly high and dive deep to know the mysteries of Nature. To do that I must know my limits. I am a person who believes in SELF. I am always ready to learn and I live each moment. I do not let anybody interfere with my thought process/compartmentalization for today.
The work of an author reveals his/her character or personality. I believe I am a serious writer. Please understand that I am writing about life. I am definitely returning the experiences as Sutras. As the learning never stops, understanding the psychology of people is a continuous task for me.
I was ready to leave teaching in a four years degree college for research and eventually teaching in a university.
I went on for Ph.D. ‘Publish or Perish’ was the Mantra. I have authored and published good articles on the Heart imaging agents of Tc⁹⁹m and vitamin B12, besides many more articles in the scientific journals.
I retired from ‘doing’ science because of Parkinson. I believe that man does not charter his own destiny. We appear to do the obvious. We follow the dictates of the unseen and mistakenly start believing that we are the doers.
PublishAmerica makes certain that the book is advertised and is available to the prospective buyer. The publisher makes certain that the author pays even for the display of the book. Each time I have to ACTIVATE (?) the book for the event. This is an indirect way to collect money from the author. I definitively believe the book should be sold by its printer and Publisher. The author would do his best to keep the book
