Patricia Erickson
Patricia (Spina) Erickson was born and raised in Chicago. After graduating she married and had two children. She moved with her husband and children to a small town named Tomahawk, in Northern Wisconsin. Patricia worked for a large Paper Mill and retired in 2009 from the Quality Control Department. Patricia had always wanted to write Children’s books, and decided this was a perfect time to get serious about her writing. After lots of encouragement from her family and friends she has written four books. Her first story, “The Little Christmas Tree”, was published in the local paper. She then wrote “The Shiny New Shoes”, “The Little Lost Bunny” and “The Little Frog Who Couldn’t Croak”. Patricia is now in the process of publishing her books. Patricia is writing books in the children’s area. Her stories are based on what could be real life situations and a moral to learn in each of her books. ”The Shiny New Shoes,” is a 2012 International Award winning book.
