Lindiwe The Voice Amongst the Eagles - Tralone Lindiwe Khoza
Dedication
I dedicate this book to the memory of my late grandmother, Xoshiwe Mnisi Nkobane.
Acknowledgements
This book would not have been possible without God Almighty, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life.
... for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Acts 17:28
Thank you to my family, including my children, Thapelo and Nyeleti, and my late grandmother, the best storyteller I ever knew. Thanks also to the spiritual teachers and mentors who have guided me in this journey of life. This includes the late Dr Maya Angelou who stirred the gift of poetry in my life and who said, ‘Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.’

Synopsis
Lindiwe: The Voice amongst the Eagles represents the voice of every woman. It is an intrinsic collection of poems that includes autobiographical work including early childhood memories, adulthood experiences, moments of personal reflection, and poems about triumphing against all odds. It also addresses critical socio-political events in South Africa. It will speak to the reader, particularly women, on different levels, who will identify themselves with the material, be inspired and laugh at themselves in the same breath.
You were created by God to fly like eagles (Isaiah 40:31) and subdue the earth (Genesis 1:26). Go out there and make it happen!
