Alyn Cardarelli is a graduate of Chicago’s famed Second City Training Center and the co-founder of Emerald City Theatre, Chicago’s largest theatre dedicated solely to families. Mr. Cardarelli has created dozens of plays for young audiences that have been produced in England, New Zealand, Canada, and across the United States. He has adapted many existing children’s books to stage and was the most produced family playwright in 2009-2010. With this work, he has taken one of his popular original plays (based on a childhood fondness for comic books) to create his first book. Mr. Cardarelli resides in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
