      The Beginning

      I believe that God is real! I believe that God created the Heaven and the earth. I believe that God created everything. I believe in the life, the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I have confessed my sins and I have asked for forgiveness. I have been baptized. Is that all I have to do? No, this is only the beginning.

      The next step is to enter into a relationship with Jesus. I must get to know Jesus for myself. I need to know what are His likes and dislikes. I need to know what is pleasing to Him. I want more than a religion. I want a relationship. I am ready to take it to the next level. In order to have a one-on-one relationship with Jesus, I must give Him three things.

      Time + Love + Commitment = A Relationship with Jesus

      Author’s Prayer

      Father God, thank you for this day. Thank you for your love and for your grace.

      As I seek to build a relationship with Jesus, it is my prayer that this book will help others to become closer to Jesus too.

      God, let your words increase in our hearts and in our lives.

      Thank you God for giving me this vision and for giving me the determination to finish it.

      Father God, I pray that You are pleased with this offering of praise and worship.

      This is my prayer, in the mighty name of Jesus!

      Amen!
