    Authors Notes

Introduction to the Bible is a small book with a big job. We hope that it well help people to understand what the Bible is trying to tell them and to explain more about the people that wrote the passages.

We also hope that we have described what life was like during the times that the scriptures were written. If you read Introduction to the Bible with an open heart and an open mind and then with each chapter in the book that you read you should read the same chapter in the Bible. Hopefully it will tend to explain a lot of things that you may not have understood before.

The sources for this book are many versions of the same book THE HOLY BIBLE. It doesn’t matter which version of the Bible that you use the message is all the same.

    INTRODUCTION

The reason for writing this book is to teach people what the writers of the Bible are telling us and to learn their teachings. We must all begin by learning about all of the prophets and the disciple’s one-step at a time. I would like to thank all of the people that had anything to do with the writing of my Bible because without their efforts this book would not be possible.

It is so very important that when we are studying the Bible that we not only study the words but we also study the meaning of the passages themselves. Anyone can read the Bible but not everyone can learn and understand what it is telling us.

It is very possible for a person to live their lives according to what they think the Bible is saying to them through the passages and not to understand the real meaning of what they are really saying. The purpose of this book is to give you a little bit of insight into what was happening at the time of the writings and to hopefully teach you the difference between what you think that the Bible says and what it is really saying and to be able to install a desire to learn more and to be able to put what you have learned into practice.

This book is to be studied in conjunction with the Bible. After you read
