ANXIETY, PRANKS AND MAGIC is a collection of three flash stories: "The Hallway," "The Room," and "The Vet Visit."

"The Hallway" is a realistic fiction story about a woman fighting to overcome her anxiety in a small, confined hallway and retrieve her dog, Bertha, from the sitter.

"The Room" is a suspense-thriller revolving around two men and a hotel room covered in blood.

"The Vet Visit" is a fun bit of magical realism concerning Jason and his poor, sick cat, Harold.

Sammy Jean is a screenwriter, who primarily writes animation scripts focusing on cats as the main characters in mostly fantastical settings. She is working on three animated web series with cats in starring roles. Jean is currently enrolled in the Creative Writing for Entertainment BFA at Full Sail University. The mom of 15 kitties draws inspiration from her cat menagerie for her scripts.
