About this ebook
Jennifer 2308Z has just joined the Peacekeepers - an elite police force that is all that stands between the inhabitants of Good Hope Station and the ever-present threat of the shambling undead. She works with Detective Glorious Splendour of the Nova, a cyborg who has never met a file she can't misplace.
When film star Morena Stewart is murdered on their station, Jennifer and Glory are perplexed - especially considering that the superstar is quite visibly trolling for an Oscar half a galaxy away. Can Glory and Jen solve the murder before it's too late?

I’d never been out of the nursery before, and not even the entire Toddler Division in full on chain tantrum was a patch on this – a hundred conversations going on in sixteen different languages, everyone trying to make themselves heard above the advertising holos. The word ‘cacophony’ did not even begin to cover it.
I consulted my HUD again. It was still blinking my destination ahead and to the left, until the pedestrian belt whizzed me past a side corridor and suddenly it was blinking behind and to my left.
