TWOVC 58312.04.jpgREDEEMER OF BLOOD
On Seeing Earth From Space: Before I flew I was already aware of how small and vulnerable our planet is; but only when I saw it from space, in all its ineffable beauty and fragility, did I realize that human kind’s most urgent task is to cherish and preserve it for future generations.
- Sigmund Jähn, a German pilot who became the first German to fly in space as part of the Soviet Union’s Intercosmos program.
Suddenly, piercing from behind the rim of the moon, in long, slow-motion are moments of immense majesty, the emergence of a sparkling blue and white jewel, a light, delicate sky-blue sphere laced with slowly swirling veils of white, rising gradually like a small pearl in a thick sea of black mystery, Earth . . . home. This third planet from the Sun is the largest of the terrestrial planets in its own Solar System in diameter, in mass, and in density.
A panorama of brilliant deep blue ocean, that contains many shades of green, gray and white - is of atolls and clouds. This Pacific scene in motion is rimmed by the great curved limb of the Earth. It has a thin halo of blue held close, and beyond, black space. The view of the planet is like a glimpse of divinity. It is accentuated by a thin seam of dark blue light - its own atmosphere. Although its mass is apparent, still terrifyingly, its sight in space appears so fragile.
The view, like the void of space, denies all breath, yet even more is missing, something is strangely unfulfilled. Here is a tremendous visual spectacle, but viewed in silence. There is no grand musical accompaniment; no triumphant orchestra, nor inspired sonata or symphony.
Looking outward to the blackness of space, sprinkled with the glory of a universe of lights, there is majesty, but no welcome. Earth is the sole beckoning planet. There, contained in the thin, moving, incredibly fragile shell of the biosphere is everything that is dear to its inhabitants, all the human drama and comedy. Here is where life is; where all the filling from each body resides.
Growing closer to it, Earth appears so much bigger, the color changes to a light blue, yet it still seems, touchingly alone. This earthly home of humans must be defended like a holy relic.
As Earth sits in this void of space, a vibrancy of the blue, green, and white sphere emanates in an aerial view that looks like a postcard. And traveling back now some distance from Earth, outside the planet’s orbit, is a fleet of titanium-like spaceships, docked and armed for battle.
Fully certified to all aerospace specifications and muscled with exceptional strength to weight ratio are the elevated temperature performance and corrosion resistant fleet of ships that launch from Earth’s Lunar Launch Bay. The lunar warships ships are of varying size and armory, but all are imposing and their mission is immediately clear by their assemblage. Their glistening titanium-like hulls are most significant to their mightier than jet engine and airframe components that can sustain temperatures beyond eleven hundred degrees Fahrenheit. These ships are unbeatable. They are built to win any battle. The accompanying fighting force is unequalled. In addition this manned space fighting brigade of aircrafts, revs up one to the other with more than solid rocket booster cases, they are mind-controlled guidance pressure vessels, and an endless variety of applications allowing light-weight armor shielding maneuverability and reliability. They fly in a diamond formation clearly targeted toward an enemy.
Earth’s Master ship leads the fleet and docks with an alien Edenite Command ship in space. The Edenite ship looks swift, lofty, but somewhat clumsy in comparison. The Edenite ship is also battle-ready, and can certainly cause some damage, but its maneuverability is lacking. The Earth ship has a clear battle advantage.
On board the Edenite ship is a conference room. Chancellor Demetrios of the Planet Eden and the Planet Galleon Leader Alexander sit. Chancellor Demetrios from the planet Eden is self important and anxious. He is driven by revenge. The Galleon Leader Alexander is an instigator, always looking for his best earning scheme. Demetrios and Alexander have a common understanding-they need each other.
Edenites have long tails like an iguana and gills with venomous secretion glands. Galleons have glorious feathered wings and mouths that look like beaks. Both species have skin that is somewhat thick and scaly, but in every other way they act human.
Twenty nine year old, Secret Agent Lorabella Kurv Wiles from Earth, walks in. She grabs Demetrios by the throat, and lifts him from the chair that he occupies. She is supernaturally strong, confident, and one super curvy chick. Lorabella is Earth’s best hope and defense. She is Earth’s secret defense weapon; she is the present day culmination of the legacy of Vela Kurv. Lorabella is more than human; she has Edenite alien DNA cells all compressed into a haunting sex symbol figure.
Demetrios swings his monstrously thick tail toward Lorabella. As it flops, she goes flying. Lorabella’s eyes glow back with white light. She’s been waiting for this fight for a very long time. This will be her best battle. This conquest will be her revenge. The taste for Demetrios’ blood is more than driving Lorabella to go for the jugular. Lorabella is self-motivated to defeat Earth’s alien invasion threat and believes that she has uncovered how to protect mankind from an impending invasion. Lorabella threatens Demetrios, Your time has come to fall, Demetrios!
Demetrios retorts, I will never fail.
Lorabella clarifies her threat, I said fall because I will make sure you are defeated.
Lorabella stands with tenacity and like a panther, she springs on top of Demetrios and whoops him with her fists. Demetrios gasps for air. Her punches are driven like a hammer to the nail. Clang, whomp, clang, ka-pomp!
Demetrios and Lorabella tussle and fight. It is a long arduous dance of punches, wallops, kicks, and smacks one to the other and back. Demetrios tries to hurt Lorabella, but the adrenaline in her veins has made her impervious to the pain of a punch. Demetrios must resort to a chemical attack.
Demetrios shoots venom. It misses Lorabella and lands on the floor. But, she slips on it and falls. It is thick, white, gooey and deadly. It seeps into her boot and her foot begins to swell like a melon.
Lorabella tries to get up, but the venom’s liquid state makes it impossible to find her footing. Instead she falls and lands on the knee of her good leg. She screams as it crunches on the floor.
Demetrios smiles. Now he clearly has the advantage. He plans to annihilate his enemy once and for all. I will kill you Lorabella, you’re no match for me.
His tail whips Lorabella across her back, breaks it, the sound makes Alexander wince. Lorabella yells in horrendous pain before she passes out. She lies motionless on the floor. Her chest heaves up and down, she struggles to breathe. Time stands still. Demetrios and Alexander stare frozen and unable to move, as well.
White cloud-like gasses pour in to fill the room, and Lorabella’s head. She dreams as she lies in an unconscious state of mind. She hangs close to death. Her breathing is labored, and just as so many have told of their journeys before, her life too flashes before her very eyes.

Lore
The world of Vela Kurv subscribes to the belief of The One governing body of the universe. The One is supported by the many that serve it. The King reigns with the Sovereign and the Sage of Ages. Vela Kurv is one seed from The One consciousness. Lorabella Kurv Wiles is Vela Kurv. Vela Kurv’s guardian is always the Sage.

Lorabella Kurv Wiles is Earth’s best hope and defense. She is Vela Kurv. Not only did she put away childish things when she became a woman, but she also believes that where there’s a will, there’s a way. She has supernatural abilities that aid in her abilities as an exemplary secret agent curvy chick. She is motivated to succeed and believes that she will uncover how to protect mankind from an impending invasion. She knows that man is not alone in the universe; it is precisely because of her own supernatural abilities, that she knows this. After all Lorabella is more than human. She also has Edenite alien cells. Her close friend and confidant Dr. Dan Gibson Val Demure believes that (possibly) the alien life forms that threaten Earth are interested in peaceful cohabitation, and not just invasion. She is somewhat torn by this persuasion/reasoning versus the desire to shoot first, avenge her mother’s murder, and rid Earth from a certain threat.

Space ships can travel at the speed of light, still the planetary defensives of Earth pale in comparison to the Edenites’ and Galleons’ weapons, to say nothing of the alien’s sheer brute strength.
