    The woman who raised me had many interesting sayings.Realizing that the wisdom of the universe was in those quotes,I set out to record as many of them as I could. The sourcesare many.

    Credit has been given to as many of the originators aspossible. Recorded herein are the ones that intrigued meat the time for one reason or another. Over time, though,my outlook, attitude and tastes have changed, but I did notremove those quotes that no long suit my values. They maybe removed from the next edition.
