  Ms. Cummings received her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, and Vocational Education Administration certification from Livingstone College, North Carolina Central University, and UNC-Greensboro, respectively. She also received certification as a Business Manager from the State Department of Public Instruction, Raleigh, North Carolina.   Ms. Cummings has held numerous highly recognized leadership positions in the educational, religious, and political arenas and has had extensive travel—domestic and international including Africa—speaking to civic, religious, educational, and political assemblies and attending conventions.
