    Introduction

Civil Refuge tells the story of the epic adventure of life on the planets Ionious, Zythica, Earth, and Mars. In the year 14,000 BC (Earth years) in the Ephesial Galaxy God created the planet Ionious and an ancient race of alien beings.

All Ionians were given a pill that setup receivers and transmitters in each part of the brain that interfaced with their senses that served as a governor for God and the spiritual beings to watch over the Ionians. In the year 10,000 BC God instructed a group of engineers to create a Quantum Universal Energy String Transport Starship, or Quest Starship. This is capable of bending and warping space between two points and travels from point A to Point B instantaneously. This is governed by string theory that states that it is theoretically possible to transform space and time and travel from one point in space to any other point in space like folding a piece of paper with two dots and connecting the dots. The first ship that was created by the group of engineers was known as Ionious United Quest Starship.

In the year 8,000 BC while exploring other planets within the Ephesial Galaxy, the Ionians encountered an alien race known as the Zyahth. The Zyahth were all alien warriors, and they battled with the Ionians in several wars that lasted for a few thousand years. The Zyahth were a formidable opponent with an advanced technology equal to that of the Ionians. However the Ionians had a major advantage against the Zyahth. In the Northern Galactic Mountains of Ionious United, there was an abundant supply of the element Nivio. Nivio generators powered the Quest Starships as an endless energy source as well as supplying energy to the ancient Ionians on the planet.

While in constant battle with the Zyahth the Ionians discovered the planet Earth in the year 900 BC and selected the ancient Greeks as research patients. They were then chosen among all other Earth’s inhabitants due to their superior intelligence and were captured and cloned. The Ionians made the Greeks slaves on their planet to mine the element Nivio in the Northern Ionious United Galactic Mountains. Around the year 800 AD, the ancient Greek slaves revolted and fought for their own independence. After the Greek Ionians overthrew the ancients a Greek slave known as Ezekiel Epsilon was instructed by God to write a program in the supercomputer that governed the ancient Ionians that would form a system of government for the people that was called a Digital Trinity Republic. This program transferred the conscience of God, the Father, Jesus, God’s only son, and the Holy Spirit into the DTR. This allowed the Ionian people to be in constant contact with God and also allowed God to directly communicate with all of the Ionian people.

Long after the ancient Greeks gained control of Ionious United, they took a Quest Starship to Earth and made contact with the human race in the year 2012. In the year 2027 the Ionians completed the Quest Starship known as the Exodus and traveled to Mars and began a colony on Mars known as the United Colony of Mars. They also began the process of Terraforming the atmosphere of Mars, which took several hundred years to complete. After drilling into the ground of Mars the Colonists discovered an unlimited supply of fresh water that could sustain life on Mars for thousands of years.

The Quest Starship Exodus brought millions of Earth inhabitants to Mars in the following years. In the year 2028, conservative Christian Republican Jonathan Houston was elected President and Joel Osteen was his Vice President was in office for 8 years known in history as the Glory Years where America was brought back to God. The president delivered a weekly speech The Message that converted millions of people to Jesus Christ. Abortion was abolished, and prayer was allowed in schools. Several laws were passed that allowed the United States to intervene in transforming Communist countries into Democracies. In 2028 a war broke out between Europe and the countries of the Middle East. This was a war of religion between the Godly Europeans and the Muslim Middle East. The USA intervened and attempted to save Europe from the deadly snares of the Muslim grip, thus begins the Epic adventure of Civil Refuge.

Before each chapter I have explained what I think that would be best for you to think about while reading the chapter. It is called Things to Consider and it will help you in your personal walk with the Lord and also help to strengthen your relationships with others.

    Chapter 1

    Life on Mars-The Shield

    Things to Consider

When we are away from the ones that we love, God has given us the emotions of missing and treasuring. While we miss someone, we develop the things in our minds that we treasure most about that person. When Daniel is away from his family think about what it would be like if you were in his situation, and think about what you would treasure most about the ones that you love and miss. Also think about how you can use that emotion of missing a loved one for good for the ones that are around you now. You might be inspired to do something kind for them just to be nice and a blessing. Sometimes when we miss someone we can be poor in spirit because we cannot be with that person. Remember this if you are poor in spirit from missing someone and you keep a meek heart you will be blessed greatly and Heaven and Earth shall be yours. (The Beatitudes Matthew 5)

    Chapter 1

Life on Mars - The Shield

While working, Daniel Delta flowed across the floor as if he was in a race like his ancestors in the ancient of days. The Olympics were held to this day on the planet, only now they had a new invention called clothing. He hoped to someday return to the Utopia of the Galaxy, on the only utopic planet, Ionious. His heart was back in his real home back with his family, and the thought of her made a mist of glaze encompass his eyes as he flipped down his viewport lens and scrolled through a myriad of pictures and videos that sparked a yearning to return.

His wife Zephania Delta was the sweetest, most thoughtful, and most caring person Daniel had ever met. Being away from her brought further realization to him that his heart could be found in a transcomm screen, that allowed them to communicate when the dust storms were not too heavy on Mars. She was always there to encourage him when he was facing obstacles with the pulse modulator dome at work, or busy in his apartment just being all alone missing his family. Most of all, she was there to tell him how much she loved him and how much she missed him and couldn’t wait till he would return.

Seeing his family on the screen sparked inspirations in his work that he someday might return. Someday was far away and his patience grew weary one day and in furious frustration he barked at a colleague, If only it didn’t take a year to configure a continual pulse modulated field with the only element known to this lacking of a planet I could be at home overlooking the universal mountains with my family on our back porch.

Every time that he would see a Quest Starship, a warm smile took over his face. He liked seeing the stringline and watching the entire ship disappear because he knew where it would reappear again. Her face was like no other Greek that he had ever seen that was in part to what had first attracted him to her. She is so supreme he would tell his team members and uplink a few of his best pictures of her so the guys could understand why he would get sudden bursts of inspiration or even sudden fits of frustration at the situation when a connection was warped.

Everyday he was there at the stringline link to talk to his wife and children to let them know how much he loved them and tell them how he cared about them to infinity and spoke of what they would do on Ionious when he finally returned. Daniel was the only qualified Greek Ionian to do the job on Mars; his dad was 1st field engineer as was his father. Daniel had already invented and equipped all Quest Starships with a variety of shields that Zyahth codes of ballistics could never pierce. He made the Transports indestructible.

General Isaiah Omega could tell there was something special about this Daniel. He decided that he was the best man for the task on Mars and gave him orders to build vital dome shields on Mars. This would make it inhabitable for the influx of new arrivals from Earth so that all residents of Mars could pursue their dreams on this fledgling planet. This Nuevo of an atmosphere was ever changing and ever drawing closer to the destiny of breathable air on Mars.

Implanted in Daniel’s office, in the Scroll Walling, was displayed a picture of snowcapped mountains of Ionious with a Quest Starship directly above that was brightly illuminated by Adthen, the sun of the planet system, that produced an inspiring silver lining with shafts of light engulfing the starship in a light of the heavens streaming through to the soft new blanket of snow on the mountain glistening in the spectrum. Each snowflake was a prism refracting color like a diamond from the streaming, much appreciated Adthen. The last time he was there overlooking the Crescent Peak on the porch with his wife, they were holding hands clasped firmly as she handed him a LLW, laser light write, that hovered in his office over his title plate written in Nivio.

Every other picture would be that of a correlating scripture from the Bible that would read such passages as, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, found in Philippians. Delta typed in his own inspiration that read, As for me and my team, we shall serve the Lord. This was similar to the inscription on the digital wallpaper in his house back home that says, As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.

Daniel was well versed in the word of God to the extent that some would even call him Ezekiel Epsilon as a compliment of the highest respect. When he would pray for members of his team Tau they were healed by God for some of their ailments.

Not all of the members on team Tau were of the Faith when they were first commissioned to the planet. After one week with Daniel, though, all of the members on his team were quoting scripture as if they have been reading the Bible all of their lives. He had a way of explaining things that would paint a picture that was sharp as a two edged sword. With one edge he shined the light of God’s word to them, while with the other edge, he gave them instructions on how to complete their tasks to the exact specifications that were required for the job.

Timothy was with the first wave that settled Mars after the ocean was tapped and O.C. (Oxygen Converters) made life possible on the planet. When the Orion Ocean was first discovered at the north pole, NASA immediately sent 101,000 engineers and scientists to build life support structures that would allow OC to tap into the natural resources and would make the first colony on Mars. Timothy was secluded on earth and had never heard the gospel until he met Daniel. It took exactly 7 days, and two full-scale matter converter installations for Timothy to accept Christ into his heart as his savior.

Timothy had a set of bagpipes that were out of this world; after he got saved, he didn’t stop singing scriptures for two weeks straight. In the office, at the land installation sight, at the mess hall, and especially during Praise hour in the chapel. He had a thirst for the knowledge of God and the lungs to belt it. A smile never left his face and scripture never left his lips, on fire for the Lord, he was on fire for the Lord.

Daniel had the gift much like Ezekiel did for weaving a story of faith into any task that he assigned one of his members to complete, so that by the time that they had mastered the task, they could not repeat the task to another team member without teaching them about the Biblical theme that Daniel had used in the teaching. He was a very special man and this was also a main reason that the General Isaiah Omega had selected him for the job in the first place. He had a way of making the bible real to his workers and knew how to make serving the Lord personal to them. To say that he was a born encourager would be an understatement.

    Chapter 2

    Loving Plans

    Things to Consider

We all have in our mind the way that we think things should be, sometimes this is different than the reality that we are currently in. To accomplish our goals of making things better for ourselves and others we must do something that is critical in reaching that objective, make plans. What I want for you to think about is, what plans would you make to make your relationships with the ones you love or even your relationship with Jesus better. If you were away from your loved ones, what would you plan on doing to make that experience the best that it could possibly be, to show them how much you love them. This is good to get a fresh perspective of how you could be spending time with your loved ones even if you are always with them.

    Chapter 2

    Loving Plans

The last transmission wasn’t as up to par as Daniel might have hoped for but none the less something was better than nothing. Staff Sargent Kedar Kappa just stringed over an hour ago and was recently briefed of the course of action they should take. This was after the last error message that hampered the total execution of the last pulse frequency.

Kedar could tell that Daniel needed a break, and he also knew Daniel’s family back on Ionious has been missing him something serious; this poor chap could probably tell you from memory the days they had been apart. If Daniel concentrated enough on his wife, he could hear her voice, that soft, caring, loving voice that he cherished so dearly that could inspire him to anything.

While Daniel was clamping a circuit, he drifted mentally into a daydream and was back at home in Athenia with his children at school, his wife brought him breakfast in bed. While testing the radiation level of the conversion, he heard her say, You know I have always loved you. She said this as softly and sweetly as he had ever heard her say it, and it was as if he were there with her and not on Mars. While she was saying that, she combed back her beautiful hair with her fingers and looked him in the eye with a deep sincerity, which rivaled the time when she told him that they were out of money for the week, that serious of a look. Then she told him and assured him that yes, she loved him, but also they would never part once they began their life together.

His plans once he arrived in Athenia were simple to spend every waking moment with his family. There was one very important thing that he wanted to discuss with his family, and this was the subject of stringing over more often, he thought he could every weekend in the place of the transcom. This was of course until he had the entire planet up and running again. After his work here was done he could live back home in Athenia.

Kedar said, It’s been too long; your time is needed more with your family back on Ionious; your commanding engineer can take over with your instruction here for a week while you catch some R&R.

She handed him a Scroll Datapad, Here are your LOA papers, includes one week stay to get you back to reality and back on the planet, literally back on the planet. A tear started to well up in his left eye as he stood up, saluted Sargent Kappa, and sprinted to the transcom display to tell of the good news. He would be leaving in an hour.

Zeph Delta, Daniel’s rose of the Loupe, and honey cakes softy, had a career that could rival any other woman on the planet. She had the dreams and aspirations of a 5 star general, knowing well the rank and order at work and in the house. She lived by the wisdom of the Bible, Ezekiel translation 2027, with a reputation, respect, and aptitude that would gain her a wealth beyond all compare. A geologist whose belief in God, research, and perseverance told her exactly where to setup a survey in the last 4 months that had already climbed the ranks of communication directly to General Omega, and he had asked to present her findings on ID 410.3118.

For this she had been preparing for over the last 8 weeks on the presentation of the samples for the engineers, and, yes, she once had a job as an engineer and she knew the Nivio generators through and through. She had already begun the task of sending her chemical engineers on trial runs of a new generator. The possibilities of this were endless for this side of the planet.

    Chapter 3

    Through the String

    Things to Consider

As we travel to reach a certain destination there is an essential ingredient that can make or break the time that you spend with others once you get there, preparation. If you were going on a trip to meet up with your loved ones what would you do to prepare yourself to make that meeting the best that it could possibly be. Once you get to your destination what will you do to make the most of the time that you get to spend with your loved ones. How will you go about showing them just how much that you love them?

    Chapter 3

    Through the String

Daniel had his orders and his heart was filled with hope and promise anticipating the reuniting of his family. While working he experienced a sudden flash from being connected to the spirit. Several years ago when he saw his daughter born played in front of his eyes the voice of the spirit spoken to him in the voice of Jeremiah Omega, General Isaiah Omega’s Dad. For I know the plans that I have for you plans to give you hope and a future. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. For I knew you before the foundations of the world

As Daniel prayed over his daughter Sariah one day he spoke these words to her with tears and a smile. For this was his first child and such a beauty had never been witnessed by his eyes before. Such a love he had never known in the past 8 years from seeing her grow just a baby into an intelligent angel perfect to him in every way. She could never disappoint him or upset him or do any wrong in his eyes; if there was ever an issue, he always had the answer to fix anything. The spirit was always leading him; and guiding him it was a part of his spiritual DNA, his holy genetic makeup, the core of all things pure and just and righteous.

His orders were to go aboard the next string out back to Ionious, and he was 8 hours away from that flight, so to speak. This was deep space travel not like the PAST Personal Argos String Transport walkways that he could travel in all of the planet of Ionious where he could go from the base to his very house 1000 miles away on the planet. Daniel was accustomed to instantaneous travel between walkways throughout the entire planet; now he had to adjust to the jumping of a string that took 3 seconds to travel from one galaxy to the other. Anxiety was a norm in his nature when he was testing new force fields in an enclosed laboratory, so why was this jump something he should fear?

In the past 2900 years the transportation system on Ionious had been so perfected that he never thought anything about stringing from one location to the next, but somehow he was fearful and nervous about this one. In the entire history there had never been an accident where the particle regeneration didn’t materialize across the jump. With all of the happiness inside him there was still apart of him that was hesitant to make the interstellar galaxy jump from Mars to Ionious.

Walking up the ramp at the docking station he could see the glorious ship in all of its majesty from the windows in the walkway that was enclosed in water and sealife in the first quarter and the magnificent Ionious United Moses one of the oldest vessels in the fleet. He could see the touretts on the main partition and the semicircle jump point from underneath the incredible vessel.

Its color was nonesuch without the glimmer of a victorious pearlized hue that refracted sunlight from any angle
