As a student at Troy University I wrote a research paper about the GED program and I gathered alot of valuable information that GED students can utilize from the GED study guide in preparing to take the GED test. I have received my masters degree in Post Secondary Education. As substitute teacher and a previous Virginia Department of Corrections Case Mangement Counselor for 17 years I continue to motivate individuals by telling them to continue to pursue their educational background by obtaining their GED. I am married, a sister, aunt and sister-in-law, born and raised in Suffolk, VA and I currently reside in Hampton, Virginia. I am currently working in Northern, VA for the federal government.

Study Guide for General Educational Development (GED) Testing for Adults

If you cannot pass the General Educational Development (GED) test, this study guide is designed for you. According to World Book, there are a series of tests called the General Educational Development (GED) that are given in order for adults to earn a certificate that is equal to a high school diploma. (World Book, 2008). The GED has been around since 1942 during World War II. However, it was meant to allow all veterans to quickly get credentials that would be equivalent to a high school diploma in order to be able to go to college. After this occurred it was made available to all adults. This test measures how well
