This novel is an eye-opening interpretation of the end times, based on the ancient manuscripts of the Holy Bible. Events now emerging with ever increasing rapidity and intensity were foretold long ago in the prophetic books of the Bible, the most famous being The Book of The Revelation. The vision of the Apostle John is confirmed by various Old Testament prophets whose writings also should be read in context.

These prophecies are interwoven in novel form to simplify the events that have begun to unfold, and are the foundation of two volumes, Unfolding Volume I Parts One and Two, and Unfolding Volume Two Parts One and Two. It is understandable that the Bible would be the most maligned of books in this age, as it fully exposes the plan of the war between good and evil in "the last days."

The Bible has been the number one source for the information contained here. Much of the prophetic information it contains reads like current headlines. INTRODUCTION

This novel in two volumes is written for those who hunger to understand the prophecies of the end time, and are curious about what the future holds. This will be a learning experience of worth for those who hunger to know the ORDER of events that will affect our lives.

The author makes no apology for basing this enlightening novel on the highly relevant Book of Revelation. The time has come for these prophecies to be fulfilled. We are currently seeing the scenes UNFOLDING with ever increasing rapidity. A teaching tool for hungry hearts

THE UNFOLDING, Volumes I and II were written as a result of a supernatural revelation given to the author of the ORDER of the Book of Revelation. This was given one night in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa, after eighteen years of prayer for an understanding of this awesome Book. Since that night, people of faith from many countries have shared with the author of having received the same order of events after much prayer. The ORDER of The Revelation was received rather than every detail of the Book, resulting in a creative novel based on fact.

Unfortunately, the apostasy (strong unbelief and blasphemy) prophesied to be one of the chief trademarks of the end times, has found a haven in America, now fully recognized as Material Babylon. Here, the Word of God was once highly revered. This too is no surprise to the student of prophecy.

The Unfolding leads you out of darkness to Him who is the Light, simplifying complex Scriptures, highlighting current events. The author realizes that a creative imagination cannot replace the authentic Word, but the events listed in the Bible have been used as the base to create a possible scenario.

Please understand that no one knows the exact method God will use to fulfill His divine purposes, but this novel will alert you. It is not intended to give you a this-is-the-exact-way-it-will-happen roadmap, but rather to prepare you for what is now straight ahead! Even as God has spoken, so it shall be.

Volume I explains Gods’ Plan for seeking humans, and reveals many events happening in fulfillment of prophecy. It details the future sudden removal of a small number of true believers. Three and a half years of fierce Tribulation follow. During this time the disobedient and carnal saints get serious enough to repent and prepare themselves for their Royal Bridegroom. The book ends with the visible and spectacular return of the King for His purified Bride. The second three and a half years known as Wrath is explained in Volume II.

In Volume II the terror-stricken world faces THE WRATH OF GOD, This is a time of horror on earth, and very few escape. The greatest thrill occurs as we enjoy heaven and see the Unfolding of a New Earth as the God of the Universe takes His place as King.

The ultimate thrill of being able to visit heaven is joyfully described. Having had the humbling privilege of being allowed to visit that realm on five separate occasions, and having been shown certain areas of our wonderful eternal home, the author hopes that you too will catch a glimpse of the glory, and REJOICE at what awaits you who have chosen to TRUST the GOD OF THE WORD with your eternal welfare.

May you find this an inspiring experience as you to get to know Your Creator and King. Enhance your reading with the King James Version, of the Bible nearby, AND/OR a parallel Bible that contains the KJV along with other translations. More than two thousand verses have been deleted from other translations. The KJV has been tampered with also, but far less so than the other translations.

PREFACE

Those who hurt inside and are tired of man-made answers will appreciate the hope presented in this novel. More than thirty years ago, the author was the victim of deep depression that prompted an attempt at suicide.

There, in the woods of central Germany, as the decision was made to end the pain once and for all, the impossible happened. GOD SPOKE. This was no whisper, but an all-encompassing voice that tingled through every nerve.

Within the next five minutes, He had made Himself known to a wandering lamb that had left the sheepfold, and was trapped in the bramble of unbelief and selfishness.

More impossibilities occurred immediately. The Word of the Living God became magnetic and exciting. Ordinary people who were often considered a bother became special and loved. Family was seen through different eyes. GOD was no longer a figment of the imagination or someone ‘way out there,’ but a living vibrant Being that could speak, and who ALWAYS has a better idea!

If ever you have hungered for PEACE, if you have longed to know the One who made you in His image, get a notebook, pen and Bible and get ready for adventure!

We are now moving visibly into some of the greatest changes this world has ever seen. The prophecies declare they will culminate in THE COMING OF THE LORD. You might as well get ready!

As you read, you too will discover that indeed, very little time remains. The entire earth is now experiencing birth pangs as these apocalyptic events escalate, until the birthing of the Kingdom of God on earth takes place.

PART I

CHAPTER ONE

REALITIES!

It was 2:00AM. The monstrous Pentagon building appeared quiet and deserted, but deep within its bowels, hidden from the night workers, huddled a group of six men and three women, all in civilian clothes, poring over plans and maps that were spread out on the long tables under brilliant lights. Four of the nine were Canadian; the others were United States Government officials.

Maps of Canada and the United States were being examined by one group. As they highlighted and circled a region, the other group would assign the area a number that would identify and regulate the details of its purpose. The plans were simple enough. Long, narrow, totally basic structures in design, with inadequate facilities for prolonged survival, were checked and stacked in a bin marked––COMPLETED.

We’ve covered the bases. Now let’s look at the remote outposts. Start in Alaska. This from Cal Rutman, an older bespectacled man with a paunch and bushy gray eyebrows.

Have we decided finally on electricity or gas for the chambers? asked a masculine looking woman in a tailored suit and tie and a lesbian insignia on her lapel.

Gas is more reliable, chirped a small, bearded man, holding up a new set of plans.

That’s true, Cal Rutman replied, spreading the plans out on the table for them to see, but I’m sure we’ll end up using these while we’re still underground. After awhile, the field will be ours and those guillotines we had shipped in from France will be most useful.

Chop! Chop! Off with their heads! mocked one of the Canadian women.

Just when will Phase II be activated, Cal? asked a tall, lean man in his early fifties. His steel-blue eyes were unflinching and hard.

What! Don’t you Generals know? Cal mocked. I don’t have a clue. Has your team come up with concrete answers as to where would be best for us to start the evictions?

That was completed two weeks ago. Every group has been listed––heads of religious organizations, and those who live in communities and hold exclusivist religious views. We plan to start with the leaders of the Jewish communities first, then the leaders of the radical conservatives, Christian or not. It’ll be easy to round up their disciples once their leaders are out of the way. Blacks and other bacteria come later. His lip curled in a sneer.

We can’t afford to make one mistake, Cal Rutman stated firmly. You realize it’s death or worse to anyone who opens his mouth about this! Then, speaking slowly, enunciating each word carefully, he continued, THIS IS THE MOST SECRET VENTURE EVER UNDERTAKEN IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE.

I don’t know what’s taking us so long! fumed one of the women who was clearly the senior member of the group. It’s been years since we started planning this whole thing.

Public sentiment, Jane. Public sentiment must be turned totally against these Jews and conservative Christian scum. Rutman stood, rubbing his jaw. "True, we’ve had to slow down many times in the past twenty years, but anything this important takes time, and our time is nearly here. Be sure we maintain friendly contact with our enemies. Keep up the image of concerned friendliness. Learn all you can of their plans. Use our agents in the courts and media to hammer them with political correctness whenever it will strengthen our position. Remember to sympathize with them anytime they run into problems. You are GOOD FRIENDS. That’s vital.

Don’t forget, he continued, "we have the highest powers in the universe on our side, but we are all vulnerable to public sentiment. When the time is right, we’ll be notified immediately, and every arm of government will move in to assist us. We have only to remove the flies from the ointment FIRST! We’ll cleanse this planet yet.

Hal, he nodded at the ruggedly handsome, square-jawed newscaster Hal Slidell, whose face and name was as familiar as soap to every American, make sure you begin to suggest the possibility of a UFO invasion! I’m sure you can find some well-researched quotes from some of our friends at Harvard or on the West Coast. We need to make it highly believable, and totally possible. He raised an eyebrow and winked openly. When these people come up missing, we need to have a good story for the public!

Yeah, like we did for the AIDS fiasco! Lenny Chessman interjected. Yeah! A monkey bit a native in the butt and gave millions of people the disease! The little bearded man doubled over with laughter. His audience appreciated his humor and joined him enthusiastically. After all, he was one of the heads of the global world organization that had created the AIDS virus in a laboratory!

Hal, be sure you give them a worthy headline when it’s time to report. ‘BRILLIANT MINDS DISAPPEAR!’ quipped the General.

As if on cue, the group stood and formed a circle. One lit a candle, while another started the incense burning. The chant began, softly at first, then growing in intensity to fill the room with sound. Soon, one voice was raised in a clearly audible prayer, while chanting continued in the background. It was the General’s voice.

‘Oh mighty Lucifer, father of light, giver of all power,

Guide us who worship before you, mighty one,

And give to your own, a clear and direct design

To remove dissenters from this earth,

And to establish your kingdom––forever! Amen.

At 5:00 AM just before the dawn began to break, the nine members of this Super Secret Commission, operating directly under the auspices of the President of the United States and his allies in Canada, as well as with the approval and backing of the European Community, drove from the Pentagon parking lot to go their separate ways in silence––and darkness.

LIGHT BREAKS IN WASHINGTON

Jeri Randolph, Congressman’s wife, Washington socialite, linguist and mother of two young sons, would have fooled anyone. Fashionable with flair, yet modest, she was stunningly beautiful with a body that was a sculptor’s dream. No one would have guessed that behind that classic sophisticated exterior was a woman totally sold-out to God, who had, by His order, decided to remain a secret believer in a city that was a whirlpool of hypocrisy and falsehood.

She dared not let her ultra-liberal husband know what she had decided. That was her secret. She learned early in her study of the Word that from the light of God’s perspective, that Word was the standard, and without it there would never be true justice, harmony in relationships, or that elusive peace for which her husband and the world always hoped, but which constantly remained out of reach.

This recognition of the centrality of God in the affairs of men was new to Jeri. She remembered with pleasure that day of deliverance as she chose to call that most special time in her life.

It was two years before, that she had met Dr. Ada Finley at the country club. Ada sipped a Shirley Temple while she had ordered a martini. As they exchanged casual conversation, she noted that Ada was looking beyond her face, deep into her soul that was mirrored in her lost, little-girl eyes.

She was a broken reed back then, branded manic-depressive by her own psychiatrist. But she had learned how to put on a face for the public eye, a face so bright she had succeeded in deceiving all those who could not read her eyes. Even her handsome, ambitious husband had no idea why his wife was not happy, and why she felt it necessary to drink all day. She couldn’t fool Ada, however. She read those wild, frightened eyes, so full of pain and fear.

Ada was not the usual, run-of-the-mill woman. She directed her Bethesda office with a team of five doctors, all psychologists, who, after some years of general practice, had come to the conclusion that they had failed to meet the deepest needs of their clientele and had embarked on a search for truth.

Fortunately for all concerned, they were introduced to a Swiss Christian psychologist who had a retreat and ministry center in the Adirondacks, in upstate New York. This scholar of psychology from the great universities of Europe and America had, after many years of frustration within his own field, been challenged by a Christian colleague to get into the Bible and find the real answers. Now, many years later, this great man was a Bible scholar of repute, a psychologist who had left his private practice to teach other scholars his marvelous discoveries that brought healing to untold numbers of wounded lives.

It was a matter of days after Ada had heard about Dr. Senn’s retreat center in the Adirondacks that she persuaded her staff to go with her for a weekend of adventure. We’re going to investigate what God and His Word have to say to us. Like it or not, we need something more here, and I’m not sure, but we may have been ignoring the truth that’s been under our noses all along. I’m about to find out!

After some heavy discussion, there was not a dissenting voice in the group, and they arranged to leave early Friday morning for the long journey to the retreat center in the beautiful Adirondacks upstate New York.

In Ada’s plush luxury van, the team was bubbling with scarcely contained excitement.

Do you think this Kurt Senn will have some real answers for us? queried Flo, the youngest and most outspoken of the group. If he can just help me settle ONE question that I have, I’ll be satisfied.

And what’s your question? they inquired.

Ada was grateful she was not driving. She wanted to be able to share with her staff and catch their heart-beat in the spill-over. She knew that like her, they had a gnawing need inside that had not ever been satisfied.

My question is, WHO AM I? Flo stated flatly. If this man can give me an answer that will let me know the point of this struggle called life, and where I fit into it, I’ll be one happy cookie!

Isn’t it strange? I feel the same way. I’m hoping this guy has some concrete answers for us that we can trust! Ada’s number one assistant was voicing the sentiments of all of them. I’ve felt––what can I say? he spoke haltingly which was strange for him. I’m going to be honest. It’s been like a––an––an emptiness, a kind of vacuum inside. I give answers, but I don’t believe them myself! At this point, I’m willing to try the Book I’ve not only ignored for years, but ridiculed! I don’t suppose a man with three doctorates would fall for the Biblical text if it didn’t make sense. Who knows, we may have missed the boat.

Well, it’s like Ada said earlier. We are less than intelligent if we pass judgment on a subject we have never taken the time to examine. I’m going to listen, ask questions and evaluate. I too feel we have lost something in the rush to be accepted. There are too many answers we don’t have. I am ready for this adventure. This came from the oldest member of the group, noted for his thorough and painstaking attention even to small details.

There is just one thing we all have to remember, Ada told them. Our souls can’t be examined under a microscope, and God is not just another variable. This may involve more change than we may be ready for, but I must have some answers, and this weekend, we’ll try God!

ANSWERS IN THE BOOK

Dr. Kurt Senn had captivated many bright and arrogant ones who thought they knew all the answers––until they met this brilliant yet humble scholar who challenged them to test the Truth found in the Old Book that centuries of fierce antagonism, ostracism, defiance and even inquisitions, had failed to destroy. His thoroughly researched introductory material quickly convinced them that this Book was worthy of serious investigation.

More than one hundred seekers were in attendance. All were looking for that sadly missing component in the modern secular institutions of learning––TRUTH.

They were shocked to hear him declare, "We now have scientific proof that the Hebrew Old Testament could not have been written by any human. I recommend for your detailed understanding of this most fascinating subject, The Signature of God by Grant Jeffrey. There are other Bible code books out, but get one whose writer knows the Author of the original! He chuckled. Makes sense, huh?"

He had compiled information that astounded them. They never would have dreamed that such thorough scientific research had been done to attempt to prove or disprove the authenticity of the Bible.

"From the original Hebrew text, every 521st letter in the book of Genesis will spell a name that is coded into every chapter of that book and into every prophecy about the person with this name. The name is YESHUA. It is the name of JESUS the Messiah and soon-coming King.

This has distressed many who have rejected Him, but the computer is responsible for identifying Him in nearly every page of the Book, and identifying as well, many of the famous and infamous characters that have made history in this century. These discoveries would have been impossible without the computer. These are the last days and this Book, he said touching his Bible, has told us that ‘at the time of the end’ the mysteries would be revealed.’

What do you mean when you say the Book identifies characters of this century? one student asked earnestly.

The names of Hitler, Anwar Sadat, Rabin and hosts of others have been identified by the computer in some of the Old Testament books, but I am not going to teach on that subject this weekend, Dr. Senn told them. "You must read the books on your list FIRST, then we will discuss them at length if you wish. The revelations you will discover will surely convince you that this is no ordinary book.

My point is this: He spoke distinctly and slowly. "IF GOD INDEED DICTATED THE BIBLE WORD FOR WORD TO HUMAN VESSELS IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM, WE HAVE AN AWESOME RESPONSIBILITY TO STUDY AND ACT ON ITS TEACHINGS.

"Enough said. Tonight, I teach you the basics. The title of our subject is, WHO AM I, AND WHY AM I HERE?"

The Bethesda team eyed each other with awe and wonder. Flo’s eyes were like saucers. From that moment he had their undivided attention.

Dr. Senn began by opening their understanding to the tri-fold nature of God and man.

This was a concept totally foreign to them, and altogether missing from anything learned during their years in the various universities. What a revelation! Suddenly, hundreds of gaps were filled in as he unlocked part of the mystery of the Godhead, and of man who had been made in the very image of God.

Ada still remembered her initial surprise, joy and relief, as Dr. Senn explained that the Greeks used language more effectively than did the English, and for the first time in her life she began to fully understand who she was.

"The Greek word for body, which is the visible part of man that anyone can touch, they called koilia," Dr. Senn explained. "From this word comes our English words corporal, corpulent, corpse, etc.

"The Greek language has another word for what we call soul and defines it as the invisible mind, comprised of the will, emotions and intellect. This they named psuche. The soul is the organ of reason, living in the brain, yet not the brain. From their word psuche, we coined psyche, psychology, psychiatry and so on.

Man has another part of himself with which to contend, however, Dr. Senn told them with a twinkle in his eye. This part is not understood in the secular world, for it is the part of man that communicates with God, and they would rather not deal with that.

He smiled as he explained, "You ladies will understand that the word man in the Bible often refers to human rather than to gender, but not all the time. I trust we will prove to you God’s unbounded love and respect for both genders as we continue our study in the weeks to come. It was Jesus who gave women dignity and position, but we’ll deal with that later. When I say ‘man’ you can think ‘human’ nearly always.

"Paul mentions the whole person in I Thessalonians 5:23. He wrote: ‘I pray God, your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.’

"Note the order: SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY. We have preferred to reverse the order, but GOD IS A SPIRIT. His one purpose for creating us was to have someone with whom He could FELLOWSHIP. And because He communicates with us through our spirit, He is most interested in our SPIRIT. Genesis 2:7 says:

‘He breathed into man’s nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.’

You see, Dr. Senn continued, "The Greeks call the breath SPIRIT. Their word for SPIRIT is pneuma. We get our words, pneumonia, pneumatics, pneumonic, and so on from this root word BREATH or SPIRIT. Without spirit there is no life!" His students were transfixed, grabbing every word.

"Man’s spirit then is married to his soul or psuche, and I repeat, your soul is your will, intellect and emotions. There is no soul-life apart from the spirit, which is, in fact, the breath of God! I repeat. The soul is totally dependent on the spirit for its life. The two are NOT the same. Only the Word of God can separate the two of them. In Hebrews 4: 12 we read:

‘For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, even to dividing of soul and spirit.’ (NIV)

It is the spirit of man, he explained, that gives us the capacity to enjoy communing with God, and gives us the longing for eternal life!

But how do we activate this spirit to connect with God? Ada interrupted. She was on the edge of her seat awaiting his response.
