Chris Mason

Chris Mason is a software engineer who would rather have been a writer, but he is addicted to coding and couldn't figure out how to support himself writing obscure novels. He worked as a programmer and programming manager for 18 years -- including 10 years at Microsoft, where he was involved with Word and Office for Macintosh. He has three software patents stashed in the back of his closet. After leaving Microsoft for good he founded GrowlyBird Software, which develops free Macintosh applications. He has written ten novels, four of which are available here. Three of his other novels are for sale on Amazon (as ebooks and paperbacks, at the link shown below), and another will be available there soon. Because he's a workaholic curmudgeon with hermit tendencies, he doesn't engage in social media. But you can contact him at chris@growlybird.com.

    P2 - Chris Mason

A is for Angel: These good spirits watch and help those who are fair, kind and care for those who they love. Guardian angels stand strong and true. Maybe you have one looking out for you.

B is for Basilisk: These powerful poisonous lizards have a stare that can kill. Don’t despair these creatures can no longer be found anywhere.

C is for Centaur: A Centaur is a creature that is half man half horse. In Greek mythology, one Centaur stands out from all the rest. Cheiron is known for his teaching abilities. He once taught the great Hercules.

D is for Dragon: Dragons are dastardly creatures. They steal damsels and sit in their lairs on piles of gold. Just waiting for a knight to come along and scold. That is how it goes for dragons in the many stories that are told.

E is for Elf: Elves are pointy eared helpful fair folk. They build, create and stay up late. Whether they are helping the shoemaker or Santa at the North
