About this ebook

May 2094: the Earth is failing. Its rich elites are fleeing on a fleet of spacecraft to a distant safe haven.

The final ship is in orbit preparing to depart. The last batch of passengers race across the world to catch the space elevator before the vessel launches.

Meanwhile, suicide bombers seek to destroy the elevator, launching tsunamis across the Pacific and cutting off access to the last remaining escape ship. Their only opposition is a private security team chasing just behind.

Will the dream of entering Paradise be destroyed?

PanAtlantic Flight 3876: Munich to Quito

Uri Shakkal was on edge. Their schedule was tight. Too damn tight. Too many aspects lay in the hands of others. That meant too much could go wrong. Had already gone wrong.

They had one day to reach the objective.

His team was traveling in First Class luxury. You can’t take it with you, after all. And this was the last commercial flight any of them would ever take, so why not splash out?

Uri wished he were at the controls. He was sure he could squeeze more speed out of this craft.

Uri shrugged and glanced around at the rest of the team. Rachel and the others were dozing. His seat’s flight-tracker showed they were finally approaching Ecuadorian airspace.

He ran a hand over his shaved head and found stubble. It had been a long journey. The casual clothes he wore were rumpled and he needed a shower. He wanted this journey to be over, but could do nothing to speed up time.

He browsed the news services. There was nothing new. Israel and Iran were
