Kingpin Wifeys Season 3 Part 2 The Agreement - K Elliott

    CHAPTER 1

Shamari stared at Ava with an intensity that could cut through glass. Her eyes were pleading. She liked him and she didn’t want him to walk out of her life. Jada had set her up, but she should have known that the hating-ass bitch would have told him about her job. She was his ex and she still wanted him. She stepped toward Shamari and attempted to grab his hand.

He folded his arms and said, So do you have the money for the product?

She handed him the money and asked, Can I talk to you?

Shawty, there is nothing to talk about. You do what you do to take care of yourself. You’re not my lady.

I know I’m not your lady, but I can explain.

    Explain what?

He passed her the coke and she dropped it into her purse.

There is nothing to explain, he said.

So you don’t want to talk to me? She wanted to cry. She didn’t want to lose him, but he was right, they were not a couple. But her being in a hotel with a man looked cheap.

She tried to grab his shoulder and he pushed her back and said, Don’t touch me.

Shamari walked through the bar of the hotel into the lobby. She tailed him, calling out his name but he didn’t answer. She watched him walk through the hotel door. She carried the coke back up to the room and DeSean was passed out.

She lay on the bed next to him and she texted Shamari sixteen times before he responded.

Shamari: Would you please quit texting me.

Ava: Would you just agree to talk to me.

    Shamari: About what?

Ava: I know you’re mad at me.

    Shamari: Really.

    Ava: Yes.

    Shamari: Shouldn’t I be?

Ava: I don’t know. Can we just talk?

    Shamari: Don’t text me.

Ava: I’m going to text you until I get a conversation out of you.

Shamari: Do what you want to do, shawty.

The white Maserati whizzed through traffic and, exceeding speeds 120 miles per hour. Stunna lowered the top on the convertible and the wind smacked his face. He knew there were cops out, but right now he couldn’t give a fuck about a trooper. His baby sister had been violated. How did it happen? Who did this to his baby sister? He dialed Kelsey’s phone six times and each time he got her voicemail: This is Micky and Kelsey’s phone. We’re not available right now, please leave a message and we will get right back to you—Dyke shit. He cursed.

When he’d first realized that his sister was a lesbian, he was surprised he’d never seen it coming. He wondered why did his sister have to be a dyke. He remembered talking to her when she was eleven when he had found her lusting after girls on the Internet. He had asked her what she was doing and she said she was admiring the girls, but he could see in her eyes that it was much more than admiration.

A year later, she had barged into his room. She needed to talk to him. He was sixteen at the time and he had been bagging the ten-dollar sacks of marijuana that he would take to school and peddle to rich kids.

She stood there wearing pink Hello Kitty onesie pajamas, rocking side to side nervously.

What the hell do you have to talk to me about? He barked at her like any brother with an annoying little sister.

    I’m gay, she said.

What do you mean, you’re gay?

    I like girls.

His mouth flew open as he stood from the desk, abandoning the bags of weed. What do you mean that you are gay?

I’m gay. She smiled bashfully and then said, I don’t know how to say it more plain than I just said it. I’m gay and I wanted you to be the first person I tell.

    Like gay, gay?

I’ve always liked girls. I’ve tried to force myself to like boys, but I don’t. When the other girls are talking about boys, I would try to talk about them too, but it seemed too awkward for me. I see guys that are fine as hell, but I think pretty much anybody can agree when someone is attractive. But attractive boys don’t do it for me like attractive girls.

    You’re thirteen.

    I’m twelve.

You don’t know what you want. You’re too young to know that.

I know and I know I don’t like doing girly things.

He sighed and said, I thought you had a crush on Jay?

She laughed and said, He does like me. Look at me, I’m cute. But I don’t like him. Or any guy. I like Melody.

    Is Melody gay?

    No, she likes guys.

And why did you tell me this?

She gave him strong eye contact. I love you and I don’t want to disappoint you.

He embraced her and held her. When he let her go, he said, You need to get rid of that punk-ass Hello Kitty onesie. If you’re going to like girls, you can’t be wearing that.

And from that day forward, Micky dressed like a boy and acted like one too.

Stunna whipped his car into the hospital parking lot and raced to the reception area.

Stunna barged into the hospital and was told by the nurse where his sister was being held. He took the elevator to the seventeenth floor and saw Goldie and Kelsey standing outside room 1719. Kelsey approached him and he asked, Where is my sister and what the fuck happened?

Kelsey was about to explain when Stunna spotted Goldie and he said, Somehow, I know you had something to do with this.

She looked confused. What? I would never do anything to hurt Micky. I was at the club when this happened.

You think I trust you? You only want my sister because you’re looking for a free ride.

    I got my own money.

Shaking your ass at a club night after night. You’re lazy and I told Micky to stay away from you a long time ago.

Look, I know you’re upset, but you can’t be taking your frustration out on me!

Stunna narrowed his eyes and said, If I find out that you had something to do with this, you are a dead bitch. I’m telling you.

    Kelsey pointed to Micky’s room.

Stunna burst into the room to find two detectives standing on both sides of her bed.

Stunna said to the cops, She don’t want to talk to you right now.

He rushed past the cops, a black cop and a Hawaiian cop, to hug his sister, who was lying in the bed wearing a light blue hospital gown. She had a cut above her right eye. He kissed her forehead before he sat on the edge of her bed.

She looked up at him and said, I’m okay, brother.

The black cop’s name was Collins. He was a horse-faced man with a drooping mouth and gross razor bumps. Are you related to the victim?

    He’s my brother. Micky said.

Collins turned to Stunna. We’re going to ask you to leave. We’ll ask her a few questions then you are free to return.

She told you I’m her brother. I ain’t leaving! Stunna stood from the bed and said, No disrespect, officers, but she was raped and she don’t feel like answering no questions bruh!

Keahi, the Hawaiian detective said, Somebody raped your sister, and our job is to get to the bottom of it and find out who did it.

Stunna exchanged stares with the two cops. Look, she don’t want to be bothered with this bullshit.

The black cop ignored Stunna and kneeled beside the bed, legal pad in hand. What kind of car were they driving?

Micky ignored the detective and buzzed the nurse. Moments later, they came charging in. Micky informed the nurse that she wanted the cops to leave.

When the police left, Stunna closed the door and kneeled beside Micky’s bed and asked, How long they been here?

Not long. Earlier there was someone here from the police with a rape kit.

    Huh?

You know getting DNA and stuff like that.

    How do you feel?

Violated! This man made me feel like I was a kid and he could do what he wanted to do to me. I thought I was strong, bruh. I thought I was strong.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Tears welled in her eyes. She saw the pain in her big brother’s face. She could tell that he was hurting for her. He was sad that this had happened. She couldn’t hold back her tears. She’d begun to cry and Stunna wanted to cry, but he wouldn’t allow himself to break down.

He hugged her and held her. "You know I’m going to get them.
