About this ebook
She dreams of a future on the mountain.
He's in need of a gripping new story.
City slicker meets cowgirl in this high-mountain adventure that pits man against nature and love against time.
An author who has lost his will to write, an old photograph, and a decision to follow his gut send Justin Lane up the mountain for a story. The old photo in the city library showed a man with purpose, drive, and joy. Lost and adrift in a life he always thought he'd wanted, Justin struggles to return to that place of contentment.
Going up the mountain is his only hope. The family he finds there challenges everything he thought he knew.
Macy returns home for the summer, ready to help her family, and finds a stranger living among them instead. What did he want with her family? And why did her simple question cause him such grief?
How can these two completely different people, who grew up in opposite worlds, find common ground? Or are they doomed for failure?
He's the city boy, she's the country girl, and God put them together for a reason.
