About this ebook
It's all come down to this.
Division 3's mission to rescue their captured teammate leads them to Singer's Showdown, a complicated, year-long television competition designed to find the next breakout singer or band to find success and fame. This was an amazing opportunity for Blaine to finally get a chance to pursue his music career. Only one problem for him: he had yet to face his stage fright.
This mission won't only make Blaine the sole member to face their fears. When Gael's communication gets hijacked, the rest of Division 3 has to find a way to rescue their own AND evacuate the thousands of innocents who had come to watch these auditions. The fight won't be easy, and the goals might be out of reach, but one thing was certain...
They never imagined what someone would risk in his own life to save all theirs.

Dedication #5
It’s been over a year
And, yet, still doesn’t seem real
Gone from one world
Watching out for us from another
I still hear your voice, your laughter
Can still see your impact on the people you touched
Feel you watching over me
Wanting to slap me over tormenting your favorite characters
Then both of us laughing until we cried from the hilarity
I am eternally grateful to you, Jess
The next chapter of my life will begin soon
And it wouldn’t have ever happened without you
I wish I could repay you
Because with your support of me as my best friend
You made my life how it is today
It’s a debt I will never be able to repay…
But, the least I can do is try to make you proud of me
I will continue to write for you
I will continue to share my stories, and OUR stories, with the world
And I will forever continue to keep you in my heart
And as my root of inspiration
Because you deserve so much more than that
But, unfortunately, in death,
It’s the only thing anyone can give.

Account #5: Account of Risks
Gael
They hadn’t arrived at their accommodations until around three in the morning. Audra, Blaine, Kyra, and Saffron had all crashed while still en-route. After his fiancée succumbed to exhausted sleep, Gael found himself frequently glancing over at her and how peaceful she looked. Peaceful, calm, beautiful. While Kyra was a frozen-eyed hothead when awake, he knew she had a bit of happiness and joy inside her. However, the years of war had taken its toll on her, and her current demeanor made that glaringly obvious.
Once they reached their hotel, Eiriana and Godfrey gently woke up the sleepers, while Gael and Luz checked into their rooms. As they walked to the desk, Gael sensed the numbness their resident techno-geek currently felt. He understood it perfectly. Luz had less than twelve hours left with their side, before he made the exchange with ChaosBlaze for Nikki and Arin, and started his indefinite term as the MRC’s double agent on the inside.
Gael had been in a similar situation and knew what might lay in store. If he wasn’t under orders to make the exchange, he’d cut off their trackers and run on the lam with both Blaine and Luz. Luz, because he was what ChaosBlaze wanted, and Blaine, because he was afraid of what the kid would do when seeing his deadbeat dad with fresh eyes for the first time since he was abandoned as a toddler.
Once checked in and baggage brought up, everyone crashed into dreamland.
Everyone, it seemed, except for Gael.
Sleep eluded him, as it had almost every night for at least the last month. When he did find that ever elusive sleep, he either witnessed nightmares of his past or endured his brother’s intrusion inside the depths of his mind. Honestly, both of those fell under nightmare classification in his thoughts, as Idris was a not-dead blast from the past that brought back horrific, twisted memories and put a bad taste in his mouth.
This mission Division 3 was currently on had triggered a sort of sixth-sense worry in his mind, mainly influencing strong feelings of distrust and paranoia. A public place as big as their exchange location was practically begging for chaos to ensue. A Blazer’s dream come true. It made him sick that he knew that right off the bat: how an agent of ChaosBlaze functioned and felt. However, in that packet that Markus had sent with the rendezvous details, the ChaosBlaze higher-up insisted this event was a simple exchange, with no funny business or any other types of intentions planned inside that audition amphitheater. While he took Markus’ word with a grain of salt and trusted him only as far as he could throw him, Gael could only hope the man stuck to his word. If not, at least the rest of Division 3 would be there to back them up, should things go sour.
The war between ChaosBlaze and the MRC had been going on for almost a century, and yet they continued to butt heads, with no sign or evidence whatsoever as to which side might be winning. The words of Markus’ letter to Gael flew through to the forefront of his mind. The idea that the world couldn’t exist without chaos seemed like a stretch. But, the more he thought about it, then more sense
