About this ebook
On the Path is the story of a youthful love imbued with Buddhism and pure experiences along the Mediterranean. Prayers, nature and feverish ingenuity that time will try to erase, as it does with everything, but it does not always succeed.

I
There was a time when Antonia, my girlfriend and I, were old Bodhissatvas. Soon after we met, we didn't have anything and we didn't want anything. We loved each other only because of what we thought was a great universal energy and thanks to the influence of our friends we suddenly discovered that almost all the answers were in the Buddha.
I remember Antonia with her smile and the locks of blonde hair that outlined her cheeks asking: What is a Bodhissatva really?
A Bodhisattva is an Enlightened being among living beings and also one who helps others achieve Enlightenment. Practice the six perfections (six paramitas): bounty, morality, patience, vigor, concentration and wisdom, and thousands of virtuous practices, but renounce full Nirvana until all other beings have been released
they answered her.
We lived in a small rented studio facing the sea, high, very high, a huge building on the rocks and waves of Cala Millor, a tourist area east of Mallorca. Those at the beginning were Mahayana times and also Vajrayana times. Days in which we toured, Antonia and I, the paths along the rocks of the sea with new and brand new mountain boots and backpacks so loaded that since then we didn’t know to walk without a weight on our backs.
One of those days we had organized a big party. There were all the bikhus of old spirits and arrogant bodies of the area of the Levant and things developed so that the party was magnificent and many people woke up sleeping on the stairs and corridors of the building. At that time everyone asked me about my brother M.A., who had already become a myth. There was a lot of talk about his initiatory journey, his experiences with peyote and benzedrina, and above all the sixty-odd the letters he had sent me and that I couldn't remember where I had kept.
Once I recited, staggering, on the dining table of our apartment, under the lamp that bathed me like a Buddha induced in the celestial karma, executing the gesture of horizontality with the right hand: -The pose parinirvana: come to this world, deposit in it a flicker of illusion and leave the body.
And then a voice sounded down there: "Oh! This is a phrase of M.A. sitting under
