Then it hit her; she did, in fact, know this guy. It was Terry, a friend of Shaun’s. He had been stationed with Shaun at NAS North Island before Terry got out of the Navy. English teachers often criticized her works in high school because they did not conform to the style and methods that teachers wanted in their classes. One English teacher even commented that she would not amount to anything until she learned to write the correct way. That teacher received a print copy of the very first book that Carmen had published. When Carmen received her first computer, her writing went into overdrive, turning out long letters and short stories. However due to a long stint in the armed services Carmen did not publish her first book for years. After her first book, it was another ten years before she submitted another book for publication. That was when she discovered that there was an outlet for her erotic fantasies and began writing stories about her fantasies and real-life experiences. Now she regularly publishes new works, still in her own style. Carmen Webb has been featured several times in the Amazon top 100 erotica list. Carmen currently lives in Costa Rica with her partner and their hound dog, El Capitán. Her office looks out over the Rain Forest Jungle and provides inspiration and peace.

2018, Costa Rica

Chapter 1

Shaun and Sharon have been married for three years; she fell madly in love with the handsome 6’2" sailor the minute she saw him in his uniform. A friend had convinced her to go to a club near the 32nd Street Naval Station where a lot of sailors went. She did not think she was interested in anyone in the military but decided to go since she had nothing else to do that night.

She was a pretty wild party girl going to UCSD. A lot of other girls on campus always bitched about the military and the guys in uniform. Some of them had told her stories about how all the guys were jerks, so full of themselves.  She did not think most of them were bad people after all her father had been in the Navy before she was born. However, she was not interested in a guy that would be gone next week, off to some far-off port where he had another girl. After all, there must be some truth to the saying A girl in every port!

She ran into Shaun at the bar while getting another drink. The tall, lean sailor in his Dress Blues with the bright smile and blue eyes had let her in line ahead of him and talked to her while she waited for her drink. She remembered how courteous he was and spoke with her with a mannerism that she had never experienced in a bar. Most of the guys from college always seemed to talk down to her, talk sex immediately, or all they wanted to talk about was some video game.

After getting their drinks, they sat down at a table together to chat. Shaun wanted to know all about her; he kept prompting her to reveal more about things she had done and seen, the places she had been and why she chose to study journalism. She found him to be a breath of fresh air, and the fact that she was so turned on by his good looks was icing on the cake.
