Bakerman
Bakerman started out writing stories by the dozens while still in high school. . Being an avid reader of thrillers and horror, nl. James Hadley Chase, Don Pendleton, Richard Sapir, Warren Murphy, Konsalik, Stephen King, etc... He wrote hundreds of short stories in the form of thrillers, horror, romance...and the he tried something new. He was especially fascinated by erotic stories. The kind of writing which made erotica possible was new to him and he experimented. A proper erotic story is basically a porn movie without pictures, but beautiful and thoughtful and insightful. Not easy to write, but he experimented, until it felt right. He gave his first effort to his harshest critics - his schoolmates. It was good when he saw smiles appearing on their faces, eyes blinking to make sure they are really seeing what they are seeing, as they read. They didn't criticize or make any comments, but they wanted more. This was a good sign. With his other stories, they just read a bit and then put it down and never asked for more. But now they wanted more and more and more. And they always wanted to take it home, to go read it there. "Where it's quieter." They would say. But he knew why. And he felt good.

The Other Side of the Forest - Bakerman
Foreword
THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FOREST is one of those stories that, once read, will stay in your mind forever.
It starts out slowly, with an almost serene atmosphere to lure the reader into believing that all is well and smooth sailing. And then the action begins, at first super-hot with action packed erotica. Then the layers start to come off. It reveals one after the other mind-blowing revelation until the shocking and unforgettable conclusion.
When Bakerman started the writing of this story, he planned a whole different version of it. But from the second paragraph, onwards, the muse took over and the story virtually started writing itself. And it turned out into this amazing tale of love and lost.
Hopefully it contains a bit of everything that my readers like. Please let me know at the email address given at the back of the book.

The Dream
…Talek now runs at full speed. He tries his best to run even faster, as he knows that the one who is chasing him is four times as big as he is, and thus takes much bigger steps. Unfortunately he also knows that his body has limits and that he definitely can’t go faster than what he is already doing. This does not ease the thick fear in his throat, though.
Mercury, god of the message, give my feet wings to allow me to flee with haste before mine enemy.
He automatically says the ancient escapee’s prayer.
As with all things, he studied this since childhood and he knows it all. His teacher always called him a bright pupil who understands everything so well, it almost seems as if he knew it already.
Despite all that, it now seems as if nothing is working, as he can still hear the angry roar coming from behind. He is too scared to look and just drives his legs powerfully up and down as he tries to get away as fast as possible.
And then he sees it in front of him.
The breach in the earth.
All he needs to do now is to reach that gap in the earth and he will be home free. That is all he needs to do. Reach the gap and jump over.
But as he approaches it at great speed, he sees that the breach is growing wider. At first slowly and then it seems to be growing in an exact relationship to his approaching speed. It is as if something does not want him to reach that gap to allow his escape.
If only he had Spiritbiter, his trusty dagger with him. Why did he leave it at home?
An unarmed Firelord is either not born yet, unconscious or dead.
This piece of wisdom was written by the ancient philosopher, Kead White Hair.
That was also one of the first things he was taught when his training began. He can remember it very well. After it was taught to him the first time it was repeated time and again. And he was tested every day to see if he is armed. He was supposed to have at least one weapon on his person at all times. Over the years of hard training it became a habit, something he did without thinking. Not second nature, but first nature.
But now, in this unbelievable dangerous situation he does not even have his dagger with him. He can’t remember why not. What he did before this is only a vague memory that he can’t put his finger on. And this is the result now of his negligence.
The breach now gets wider as he approaches, but he knows he has no choice. He prefers the unknown dangers that await him if he falls into the breach, to what he knows for certain the demon-lord is going to do to him.
He gives an almighty jump at the edge of the wide gap in the earth and feels his body flying uncontrollably through the open air…
…as he falls from his bed, with the dream still fresh in his memory, he wakes up instantly. He stops himself from falling onto the floor with his arms and legs, and within seconds he stands upright, fully awake now.
The sun is not up yet and twilight is still lying over the land like a cold blanket. The frigidness bites into his skin as he quickly jumps into his clothes.
He leaves his room and walks down the long and very dark passage to the library. He is upset. In his dream he was chased by the Demon-Lord of the Swamp of Sadness. He knows he can beat the demon-lord in real life. But if he can beat the demon-lord in real life, he must also be able to do it in his dreams. Why didn’t he face the demon-lord and fight him? Why wasn’t he armed? Even in the dreamlands he has to be armed - he knows that very well and had been taught it since he was a small boy.
Was the dream maybe dragging his attention to something else?
But what?
He walks past the huge mirrors and look at his reflection. He is tall and trim. His body is perfectly ripped with every muscle showing through his skin. The many drawings he studied of the Greeks and even Michelangelo can’t beat his build. He is proud of it, because it took many man-hours in the gym, out in the fields and the woods to get those muscles.
But now he has to find the talisman.
The talisman will be able to help him in the dreamlands, if something like this ever happens again.
The library is vast, packed with shelves and shelves of old and new books. He goes through the drawers in the desk in the one corner, but nothing. He sees old trousers hanging over a chair. What is this doing here -
