Chapter one: Model Life

Courtney stood in front of the camera yet again waiting for the rest of the models to hurry up and get dressed. This was her third shoot today and all she wanted to do was sit down. Her feet were killing her because of the heels she had to wear and how long she had to stand in them. Not to mention that she had to move around due to the fact that she was the focus of the image.

Hey Court, Phil said from behind her.

Sighing, Courtney plastered a grin on her face as she turned around to face him. Hey, Phil. How are you?

I’m good. I was wondering if you wanted to get something to eat tonight.

Sure, Courtney said with her fake smile still plastered on her face.

Great, so I’ll pick you up at eight?

Make it seven, she said.

With a nod, Phil went back to doing what needed to be done. She could not believe that she had agreed to go to dinner with him again! She knew that he was going to try and kiss her, not to mention he never stopped talking!

As she turned back around, she was pleased to see that the rest of the models were there and that they could finally get to work. As soon as they were done here, Courtney planned on going home and taking a nap before she had to go have dinner with Phil.

She went to her dressing room and stripped out of the bikini that she had been wearing. Even though her hair had so much hairspray in it that it was standing up on its own, she threw on her t-shirt and jeans. Shoving her feet into her flip-flops, she slipped out the back door hoping to avoid Phil. She would be spending plenty of time with him and she did not want to deal with it right now.

Courtney was quick getting to her car. Opening the sunroof, she turned the music on and took off for her house. As she drove down the highway, she could not help but sing along with her radio.

Pulling up to her house, she went in and beelined for her bedroom; as soon as she got there, she dropped her bag on the bed and collapsed ready to get some sleep.

When her alarm went off, Courtney groaned. She wanted nothing more than to roll over and hit the snooze button, but she knew if she did, then she would be late getting ready for her date with Phil.

Forcing herself out of bed, she went to the bathroom and took a quick shower just so that she could get all of the hairspray out of her hair and the glitter off her body. She did not want to go out with Phil looking or feeling like a cheap whore.
