Sleep Affirmations - Jennifer Williamson
Nighttime is my time to heal.
As I hand over my thoughts to the healing night, they are carefully held for me. I entrust my worries, fears, and hurts to the universe, and all is taken care of for me. Sleep is coming to restore me back to full vitality.
I have done my best today, and I am willing to forgive the rest.
My best is always good enough and everything else is worthy of forgiveness. I am willing to try this belief: I have done my best. I forgive the rest. Now it’s time to let go.
My breath is my guide back to peace.
As I breathe in peaceful possibility, I release any resistance to quiet in my soul. All is well and safe here; all is right and whole. Mindful, steady breathing carries me back home.
Sleep is calling me, and I must go.
My body listens to the whispers of night, telling me softly to be at ease. There is time enough for the day, and now it is my time to dream. The weight of the day is lifting as my thoughts are drifting toward sleep.
I Am.
Thankfully, my thoughts are not me. I transcend all mental activity, for I am pure consciousness. I allow thoughts to enter and leave me with ease; I let them be carried away like falling leaves in a gentle breeze. I lie back and allow, because I Am.
Dear Sleep: I love you.
Thank you, pillow, for cradling my tired head. Thank you, bed, for supporting my tired body. Thank you, blankets, for holding my weary self. I am grateful to be in this space, held in the arms of Sleep herself.
